    Good advice for 12dailypro "victims"

Someone posted this on TalkGold.com, apparently in reference to 12dp admin. Charis Johnson:

    "--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taken from a review of M. Scott Peck's book, a must-read for HYIP junkies:

The term and title “People Of The Lie” refers to the cover-up, pretense and lie of those who refuse to acknowledge their own imperfections, those who flee the light of self-exposure and the voice of their own conscience. Those who instead practice scapegoating, attacking and blaming others, projection, lack of empathy, and judging others, hoping their own flaws will seem less noticeable. In other words, people of the lie deceive and lie to themselves to avoid their true selves, which in turn deceives others. They point their finger at others first so that none can suspect them of a wrong-doing or weakness, believing an offensive attitude will prevent the need for defense. This book’s premise is summarized near its ending as Dr. Peck says there are profound reasons to suspect that traditional value-free science is no longer serving the needs of mankind. “The major threat to our survival no longer stem from nature without but from our own human nature within. It is our carelessness, our hostilities, our selfishness and pride and willful ignorance that endanger the world.”

And followed up with something to this effect:
In other words, don't expect straight answers when you've dealt with a sociopath. Better to focus your energies on dealing with Stormpay.

Sociopaths can't deal with the reality of their behaviors. On some level they realize how hurtful they are, yet accepting this major flaw in themselves is just too painful. So disordered abusers spin our reality to make theirs less painful.

One of the most common defense mechanism they use is projection. In projection, a characteristic of themselves that they find just too painful to accept is projected onto us. And the most frequently projected characteristic is mental illness. "I don't have a personality disorder. YOU have a personality disorder." Another common and difficult defense mechanism is blame shifting. It's your fault this happened because.....

Telling us about sociopathy is not advice. I would take this more as a psychology lesson.

Not to justify sociopathic behavior, but in a larger sense, diversity is what makes the world survive. If this were already a Utopia and everyone were perfect, I'm not sure we'd have any other reason to be here.

In a more practical sense, many of these discussions may be moot. EMO is moving their site. StormPay will be very difficult to retrieve anything from (unless you're very lucky), and the last update on the !2DailyPro site was not signed by Charis.
