A Forced Agenda For California Schools

I cut and paste this article in case anybody is interested; personally, I think this is a scam.

    -----------------------------------------------------

FLOOD OF PHONE CALLS, EMAILS & FAXES ARE NEEDED!!!!
BILL AIMED AT FORCING SCHOOLS TO ADVOCATE PRO-HOMOSEXUAL POLICIES TO BE VOTED ON BY STATE ASSEMBLY!!
AB 606 SAYS SCHOOLS THAT DONíT COMPLY WILL LOSE FUNDING

AB 606 by Levine (D): MANDATE PRO-HOMOSEXUAL SCHOOL POLICIES

The California State Legislature is back in session! And they are not wasting any time to further implement policies that once again favor and cater to the radical homosexual community.

AB 606 was stripped of its original language and amended on January 4 th and passed the Assembly Education Committee on January 11 th with only Democrats in support.

AB 606 is poised to go to the full State Assembly and can be voted on as early as this coming Monday, January 23 rd.

You immediate emails, faxes and phone calls are needed to members of the Assembly TODAY!!

They must vote NO on AB 606!!!

AB 606 is a dangerous bill that will have far-reaching implications in our schools and what it taught. It would remove local discretion of school boards and give immense power to the state. It would also pave the way for schools to be forced to include curriculum, textbooks or other materials that accept, embrace and advocate homosexuality.

AB 606 seeks to force all school districts in California to implement and advertise anti-discrimination policies that specifically focus on homosexuality, bisexuality and transgender. These policies must include teacher and staff training on how to ďidentifyĒ so-called discrimination. This is another sly attempt to label any teacher or studentís objection to homosexuality based on moral or religious reasons as being discriminatory.

AB 606 deletes the current provision in law that gives schools the option of excluding curriculum, textbooks, presentations, etc based on homosexuality into their discrimination policies. If schools choose not to include curriculum and textbooks into their anti-discrimination policies they are not in violation of the law. But AB 606 would remove this option taking control out of the hands of local superintendents and school boards and give curriculum framework decisions to the State Board of Education and the State Superintendent of Public Instruction.

With the local control exemption deleted from law, it would be the State Board of Education that could at any time revise the state curriculum frameworks and guidelines and the moral and civic education curriculum even worse and it would be implied that schools must abide by and implement them.

At any given time a State Board dominated by liberal members could revise the curriculum to include the most radical pro-homosexual teachings. Likewise, a very liberal State Superintendent, like former Superintendent Delaine Eastin, could unilaterally single out conservative school districts and withhold their funds.

AB 606 would allow for the State Superintendent to solely determine which schools and school districts are in compliance with the required pro-homosexual policies. For those schools that are deemed out of compliance they would have their funding suspended until it was deemed they were in compliance.

You see what they are doing? Homosexual activists behind this bill want to force every school board, superintendent and school principal to implement an anti-discrimination policy that favors homosexuality, bisexuality and transgender and force schools to have curriculum, textbooks, materials and more that reinforce the policies that promote and advocate homosexuality to Californiaís students.

Those behind AB 606 can no longer look the public in the eye and claim they are not forcing their agenda on society! They are doing so blatantly and with the threat to schools of losing their funding!

They must be stopped and AB 606 must be killed dead in its tracks!

The pro-homosexual groups in Sacramento and in the state have alerted their supporters through emails and faxes. They have lobbied Democratic members of the State Assembly demanding that legislators pass this pro-homosexual bill.

At the very least, we need repeated phone calls to ALL members of the State Assembly to counter their actions. Making phone calls is simple! We cannot afford to be silent!!
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

AB 606 MUST BE STOPPED!! THIS IS ANOTHER ATTEMPT BY THE PRO-HOMOSEXUAL COMMUNITY TO SILENCE THOSE WHO DISAGREE WITH THEM.

IF THEY SILENCE THOSE WHO OBJECT TO THEIR LIFESTYLE, THEY CAN CONTINUE TO INDOCTRINATE OTHERS.

THE STATE ASSEMBLY COULD VOTE ON AB 606 ANYTIME STARTING JANUARY 23rd!!!

IF THEY DO NOT VOTE ON AB 606 ON JAN 23 rd THEY CAN VOTE ON THE BILL ANYTIME DURING THE WEEK. SO PLEASE KEEP THE CALLS, EMAILS AND FAXES COMING!!
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CALL YOUR STATE ASSEMBLY MEMBER WITHOUT DELAY:
Ask them to VOTE NO on AB 606!!!!
VOTE TO HAPPEN ANYTIME BEGINNING MONDAY, JAN. 23 rd!!

    It's not a scam.

If NAMBLA, the ACLU and the GSA alliance are for a bill, it means bad news. The bill looks to be very poorly written and leaves too much up to the discretion of the principlal being threatened with a lawsuit by the ACLU. This bill is trying to legislate religious beliefs and should not be tolerated. Seperation of church and state is a two-way street! What's good for the goose should be good for the gander - right?

If this bill passes, I hope the supreme court swats it outta' the sky like a bug.

Never assume ANYTHING can't get passed in California. This will have the "Bareback Mountain is the best movie ever!...it's the first real love story in decades!!" momentum behind it. ACLAMBLA stands firmly behind anything that speeds the demise of morality and the death of the family.
