    bigwin.com question

    hi everyone...

I sent in my certs for the $1,000 gas (gift) card... and I have 2 questions:

    1) according to their site, my card has been "SHIPPED"... does it REALLY take 6-8 weeks to reach me in the MAIL????? Shouldn't it only take a few days, like normal mail?

    2) is it a GAS card or a prepaid visa? in other words, can I use it at ANY store not just gas stations?

thank you in advance for any advice!
    Bonnie :)

When my bigwin.com account went to shipped I received my card about 2 weeks later. My ship date was 12/14/05 and I received the card 12/27/05. the card was a prepaid visa that I could use at any store or online that accepted Visa. Good Luck and Congrats!

the easiest cheapest way to turn a 1K gift card into cash is to go to the post office and buy 2 $500 money orders.. you get the whole amount for under 2 dollars. then of course you can deposit the M.Os.

    woot!

Yes, you could withdraw money from the ATM. The fees were $1.50 from the card issuer and the fee from the owner of the ATM machine.

Most Post Offices don't allow you to buy a money order with a credit/gift card. I tried once, and I wasn't allowed to.
