    Several scam.com websites?

I was doing a Google search and came across several types of scam.com websites.

    Here are some of them:
    bob.scam.com
    dr.mas.scam.com
    extra.scam.com
    mail.scam.com
    miss.scam.com
    mr.scam.com
    psi.scam.com

I'm curious to know why there are so many scam.com websites. Are these all legitimately connected to the www.scam.com Website? If so, did the original owner or the new owner sign-up for these?

I believe anyone with $6.95 can buy any domain name that has not been registered. So there ya go - you too can host your own!

Anyone can buy a domain name. :) There is only ONE scam.com. We are it. LOL. None of those are affiliated with us.

Sheesh, one is quite enough to keep up with. :D

Err, those sites are in fact you. Type some of those addresses in your browser's address bar, and look in the mirror. See yourself?
Anyone can buy a domain name, yes, but the domain is scam.com. Anyone cannot buy a sub-domain of some other guy's domain.

6seven8 is right. The pages you saw listed in your google search are keyword pages designed to get high search engine rankings. Each particular page is optimized for specific keywords or keyword phrases. Judging from what I have seen, there are most likely hundreds, if not thousands, of feeder pages set up for this site.

However...just as 6seven8 said, anything typed before a domain name will go to the domain, even if there are no doorway pages set up for traffic optimization.
