Mortgage Killer / Financial Equalization (FEAT)

Has anyone ever heard of these two programs or tried them. Do they work, almost seem too good to be true

    www.themortgagekiller.org

any advice or response would be greatly appreciated....I have a guy coming over shortly to explain it and I would like to have the upper hand.

    Thanks

There is no magic bullet, even one from Canada, that will legally preclude the terms and conditions of your mortgage agreement.

The hook in this offer is the in-home visit from someone who has bought into the program and is trying to sell you something that will allegedly bring you some kind of new and improved, bigger, faster method of doing something only they know how to do.

    Be wary. Don't sign anything.

It's probably just a variation on Brixdale.

BG73 - I'm probably too late with my two cent, but I recently found myself in a bind financially. My bank of 20 years took nearly three months to review my home equity loan application (owed $0 on my house). I was mad. So, I got on the phone to a few of those companies that guarantee funds in days - and they did - for an outrageous upfront fee! Other banks - not quite so bad - sure we'll give you the money at 1 1/2x the going rate. Legitimate options depend on how much money you need and what assets you have. Someone could loan you a million $ today at 3% - but can you pay the interest alone at $2500./mo? Don't get into a bigger hole than you are already in. There are other options.

    You've got honest feedback above.

Just take a look at the claims on their home page. Does anything there look legit?

Don't even consider talking to them.

EVERY mortgage/debt acceleration product/plan is based on one thing and one thing alone, make bigger payments. Most try to disguise it to make it look like your payments don't increase, but they all do exactly that.

    Bigger payments = faster payoff.

(this looks pretty much like the UFF plan, and there are already thousands of posts debunking that plan here).

Yes, it is just that simple. Of course there are other things you can do, refinance to get a lower interest rate but maintain original payment amount.
