California is a democrat run state. You keep saying the rich get rewarded by tax breaks and you might be right, but guess what? The rich pay the most taxes. Under Oh-bama, the highest tax bracket was 39% while the folks on SNAP benefits likely paid no net taxes while receiving government benefits.
