Re: A Text Message Scam using Facebook as the bait

Thank you for sharing this. What amazes me more about these scams is the fact that some people must fall for them, or else they wouldn't continue to operate. I had a similar thing a few months back where I was contacted through Facebook messenger telling me that my "service provider" had selected me to win a prize.

Complete nonsense, but I feel for those that get involved with these scams.
There are tons of online scams out there! My job is to try and direct people to the minority of decent websites out there, that will actually help you.

As soon as the guy claims Mark Zuckerberg asked him to call, I would have hung up and blocked the number. That is a really lame scam imo. Also, the caller ID would be a dead give away as well.

    For sure.

Next he'll be posting a picture of him/herself with Pres. Clinton and claiming that means some sort of legitimacy.

Wow, thanks for identifying the person in that image and confirming that he is behind the CFTU and the China Scam Patrol.

You don't now because you've chosen to delete your post.
Fortunately, deleting your post after it has been quoted doesn't work. You see, the forum software quoted your post while it was there and even included a link back to that post.

And thanks for the heads-up. I'll be sure to screenshot any further post of yours I comment on.

You're the one being disrespectful. It is disgusting to read the bigoted things you write about this man in the photo, who has no connection with China ESL teachers that I know of, and further in support of the victimization of vulnerable ESL teachers.

    That's bigotry, plain and simple.

And yet, you are they only one in this thread that keeps posting his name.
