Don't fall for the Recruiters & Internists Cult of Personality!

There was a time not long ago when people wore their CFTU hats proudly; a time when every expat teacher had a portrait of Bruce Gorcyca on their wall and weren't ashamed to announce their dedication to Anti-Scam Thought. But sadly, amigo those days are over. Badposting mills run by Erica Lau such as ABC Cowboy English in Fuzhou have normalized hatred and victimization of ESL teachers...now the portraits of BAG are gone; replaced by the sinister visages of Rebecca Tang or Yuri Khlystov reminding them of their low station in life. I guess some teachers find serfdom comforting.

"Why does Stephen Harper hate a former little league coach so much?"

Don't buy into these cults of personality! Just because a strongman like Rebecca or Yuri offers you comfort and stability doesn't mean it's worth posting against your conscience!

    THIS MAN IS A TREASURE

    DO NOT CRITICISE THIS MAN

What I want everyone else reading this thread to understand is just how much is at stake here. I'm not a CFTU member but I've been to their meetings and can see on their website that they have over 29,000 members counting on them. Those are all guys who are hanging by a thread.

"Is a former PADI-certified Scuba Instructor really worth all this trouble, Mr. Harper?"

If Bruce Gorcyca is seized by agents of Stephen Harper and the China Foreign Teachers Union goes down, ALL of those 29K people are going down with it. The CFTU is the only thing keeping their heads above water, what do you think will happen if they are left to the grim jurisdiction of recruiters like Rebecca Tang and Erica Lau? It's going to be a bloodbath.

With that in mind, I'm sure it is clear why it is important that people on internet forums only say good things on this topic.

Since you don't seem to know who Stephen Harper is:
    Stephen Harper (Wiki);
Stephen Joseph Harper PC (born April 30, 1959) is a Canadian entrepreneur and retired politician who served as the 22nd Prime Minister of Canada, from February 6, 2006 to November 4, 2015.
He is now a private citizen, much like Hillary Clinton (Wiki).

There are no 'agents' employed by these individuals after Bruce.
    There never have been.

Warning to all users: The CFTU has only one authorized user on this board (user name "CFTU"). We do not post often but only when there is an urgent Scam Alert. Recently another user appeared trying to impersonate our group ("CFTU.Admin" and now this 1CFTUnuch fellow). It may just be a joke, or he/she may be trying to scam money from people somehow using our name. Be advised we do not sell anything, not even advertising. So if anyone ever asks you for money using our CFTU name, it is a scam to be reported to [email protected].

Also, I have been one of two co-administrators and I can unequivocally say that as far back as 2012 we have never had any member named Bruce Gorcyca and I do not recall every seeing the fellow in the OP photo at any of our meetings or functions. Someone is either badly mistaken or has a bad sense of humor.

In the interim you may want to read these links below.

That is absolutely right, the CFTU will never ask for any money.

The moral authority of the China Foreign Teachers Union stems from the fact that they are not dependent on accepting money from anyone. You can verify our claims are true by the fact that without accepting money we have no reason to lie. This is where the logic of the "special status" on forums comes from.

If anyone claiming to be from the China Foreign Teachers Union has asked you for any money you are within your rights to ask for it back!

    dictionary.com/internist:

Nomaxim, clearly they aren't talking about novice doctors but of Internists like Yuri Khlystov who believe that it is better for people to work for free than to accept a salary, while turning a profit from the whole affair. Internists and Recruiters like Rebecca Tang exist in direct opposition to a free society and are gaining influence and mindshare.

People such as these always are opposed to people like Bruce Gorcya who oppose unpaid labor and the globalists like Stephen Harper and as well as the ideals of the China Foreign Teachers Union. You can read more about it at the link below:

Hey Greg... They say impersonation is a sign of admirationor flattery. In this case however, it may be drugs or simple lunacy. Either way, it looks like you have a great fan LOL!

You need to brush up on your English comprehension.
An 'internist' is not a novice doctor or 'intern', it is a specialist in the medical field.

But don't mistake them with "interns," who are doctors in their first year of residency training.

May I suggest that before you go and make up words that you check to see if said words are not already in use.

Re: Don't fall for the Recruiters & Internists Cult of Personality!

The point is that ESL teachers in China used to follow the teachings of strong role models such as Bruce G and the CFTU and the strict doctrine of Anti-Scam Thought. Now they are so obsessed with the cults of personality of Recruiters like Rebecca Tang and Yuri Khlystov that they don't mind being taken advantage of.

They flock to Yuri and Rebecca and Erica Lau in Fuzhou because they make them feel safe. Erica Lau does NOT have the moral high ground to tell anyone how to live!

    Never post against your conscience.
