Harsh chemicals in our household cleaners

Who is responsible for the use of bad chemicals in our household cleaning products ? Watch this video and maybe some things about your current health situation may be similar to those on the video.

Big business is getting away with too many things. Time to make them responsible. The only way to hit them where it hurts is to buy other products that are not using these types of chemicals. We owe it to our health, and especially our children's health as they depend on us to protect them. Start looking at labels, if there is no ingredients listed, DON"T USE THEM.

For references on harmful chemicals in everyday products look for Dr. Samuel Epstein's books

    The politics of cancer
There are others but that will get some a good lead on some info. There are many other people out there as well on this trail. Mainstream cleaners and personal care products are being shown to be one of the main causes of the diseases we face today, especially cancer. Again the website link is

My dad always told me not to bet if I'm going to lose. Might be Watkins though. Watkins isn't as over the top as Melaleuca but its network marketing all the same.

No...Rawb is not with Melaleuca. The site, however, might belong to a Mela rep...I don't know. The video is from a consumer awareness tv program in Canada called Marketplace, which first aired in March 2003 on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation network. It is an unbiased video about the harmful effects of chemicals in common household cleaners.

I have the video...it's a real eye-opener. In the video they interview an expert toxicologist, a senior researcher, a prominent pediatrician, an indoor air quality specialist, and an expert on chemical hazardous information about the harmful effects of common cleaning products to children.

Many childhood illnesses are rising at a very worrisome rate. Respiratory illness is now the leading cause of admission to hospitals for children. Childhood asthma has jumped by 400 percent over the last 20 years. Learning problems like ADD are on the rise. After injuries, cancer is now the leading cause of death in children between the ages of 5 and 9. Incredibly, most of the 80,000 chemicals in common use today have never been checked for harmful effects to our children's immature brains and immune systems.

Doesn't matter who put it on the net. The message is what is important. I found out today who it was that put it out there. Nice guy, and daughter had a liver transplant at 18 months because of liver toxicity from being exposed to household cleaners. (I would guess not only after she was born, but also while in the womb as what happened to our little guy) Being that some of the cleaners use pesticides in them, it's no wonder people are getting more sick all the time. Especially the people who stay inside more than those who are outside.
