I've posted works by Tracy Coenen and Robert Fitzpatrick before on this forum as proof how MLM is an endless recruitment scheme and a scam. Instead of giving a sound counterargument, pro-MLM instead chose to point to the accusations of defamation, violation of California Corporations Code, and Unfair Business Practices against these people. Tracy's attorneys successfully filed an anti-Slapp motion.

Medifast lost to Tracy, and had to pay her almost $200k for legal fees. They settled with Fitzpatrick and Taylor, had to pay most of their legal fees, and most importantly, nothing they said about Medifast needed to be retracted.

Pro-MLM chose to overlook that Coenen and the others ended up winning this case. So now, we can reference Fitzpatrick and Coenen without mlm defenders being able to dismiss their works due to that case.
