Jeunesse Income Disclosure Statement 2014 - Horrendous!

    https://www.truthinadvertising.org/w...ted_States.pdf

Jeunesse made an attempt to differentiate failed distributors from those that earned some gross income. In doing so, they showed their figures for distributors with an active downline, which by definition do not include those that sign up and do nothing. Out of the 7,390 active distributors, which is 25.91% of the company, two thirds of them averaged $213.92, another 20% made zero income, and another 10% averaged only $2,111.03. You have to go higher than the top 1.5% of all distributors to see a painfully anemic income average of $15,978.97! That means that more than the bottom 98.5% of all distributors with an active downline are taking in less than $16k/yr. Really, only 41 distributors in the entire company, the top two tiers make a livable income. These are the only ones that could actually leave their J-O-B and replace their income with MLM income. The third tier averaging $65683.46 would make much less after business expenses and purchasing medical insurance.

What was their definition of "active distributor"?

The numbersecond were taken from the group of distributors with active downlines. It says so in my last post, and the link clearly shows the same.

Apparently being ''active'' means to order 60 points and to have 1 person in each leg producing 60 points. How much do you think someone should earn for producing 180 points/dollars of business?

Chris doyle plugging Life Plus on MLM.com

One company I know of does exactly this, LifePlus, I'm sure there are more. Everyone joins first as a customer and orders directly from the company, everyone pays the same price for the products (no wholesale to retail markup), then receives their products along with a welcome pack which contains a form to fill in if they wish to refer others, be they business builders or just customers. If they just wish to remain a customer without referring to others, they don't fill in the extra form and just carry on ordering directly from the company.

Yep, because I don't use my own company name anywhere on the internet, so I use another company to make a point.

I won't venture a guess towards that, it's not important, just distracting hypotheticals. What's important is that out of every distributor that has an active downline, 98.5% average less than $15k gross income (before expenses)! That is just horrible. These are not "do-nothings," these are not distributors that just buy products and could not establish a downline. These are active distributors with active downlines. I find it absolutely sickening that only 41 distributors out of the entire company are earning a livable income. This is the perfect example of how MLM funnels almost all of the income to the top, at the expense of the other 99% in the system. This is a perfect example of typical results of an endless chain recruitment scheme where little retailing exists.

Stick to the facts on the IDS instead of asking hypothetical if you want to prove a point.

Yes they could be active moving 180 dollars a month (including 60 of their own). I ask again because it's important, how much would you expect someone to earn from 120 dollars of sales a month? Awkward question I know because it cocks up your "story" lol.

Why is that important? The product pricing is already unreasonably inflated to fund that lousy comp plan to begin with. In order to pay the distributors better, you would need to increase pricing even more, which would just make the whole thing ludicrous. You can't get around this problem unless you have a significant amount of retailing in the company. The fact remains that with the comp plan as it stands at the moment, only 41 people in the whole plan make a livable wage, and everyone else is making crap money, even losing money after expenses. At any given time in an endless-chain recruitment scheme, most of the distributors must be losing money, or making very little at best. It's mathematically impssible otherwise, unless you have retail, which makes it not an endless-chain recruitment scheme. You could inflate the product pricing 500%, and those at the top would be making more money, but everyone else would be getting scammed for that inflated price, just like they're getting fleeced for the inflated price right now.

Furthermore, as Tracy Coenen showed, those incomes are actually inflated, because the company is likely using the full retail price of the products to calculate income. Since almost no retailing occurs, the numbers in the IDS are actually lower than presented.

Of course its important because if, as we know, most people are either doing nothing or the bare minimum of being active (moving 120 of product a month, which is all it takes to be active), then we can know the reason most people don't earn much, or do you think people should be earning 100K a year for moving 120 dollars of products?

Re: Jeunesse Income Disclosure Statement 2014 - Horrendous!

The figures were taken from the population of distributors with active downlines. These are not people that join and do nothing. Furthermore, these distributors represent only around 25% of all distributors, where in other comp plans such as Amway the figures are taken from 45% or more of all distributors. Meanwhile, Jeunesse has worse figures than you find in other MLM's, where that 45% includes anyone that attempted to make a sale, not those that have an active downline as is the case with this plan.

Jeunesse functions very similar to the old VEMMA, which also had a horrendous IDS.

The question you should ba asking is why aren't these distributors making more income, not how much income the minimum qualifying PV pays out. Churn is huge in MLM, so clearly distributors need to constantly recruit to replace existing distributors that quit, not to mention growing the network. You're trying to make it seem like most of these active distributors just get two downlines and then coast, but we know that this is not true. The system is flawed, rigged in favor of the top uplines. The funny part is that if there were retailing, the IDS would look much better, but we do not have retailing, so instead we have this garbage comp plan where almost no one makes any real income.
