    Pyschic scams

    List of Psychic Scams

Psychic scams can rob you of your money and emotional well being. This extensive, three part series will explain the most common scams (including the new online tricks) and their warning signs.

    Super Important Note:

Before we dive in, it's important to note that there is such a thing as legitimate psychics and mediums.
These are the true Lightworkers that spend years developing their gifts in order to help others. They are some of the most kind and ethical people you'll ever meet. In this article, we are not talking about these people.
Today, we are talking about frauds with no spiritual gifts and unethical readers who are out to make a quick buck. Let's take a look:
    Bad Luck Curse or Spell

This is the oldest and most common of all the psychic scams. It's when a supposed psychic tells you that you are either cursed or have a dark presence around you.
They may even give you a vague reading to "prove" themselves and then go on to tell you that this curse is the reason why bad things have happened to you, and why you can't seem to make any progress in your life no matter how hard you try.

At this point, you may start thinking to yourself: I have had a string of bad luck lately. Maybe this psychic is right!

This is exactly what they're counting on. They want you to feel insecure or frightened. This is the "hook" they use to reel you in further.

The next thing they do is tell you that they can cure you of this negativity. Of course, this requires a fee - and typically, it's quite a hefty one.

They may also insist that you set up an appointment to see them again so they can "make sure the curse is gone." At this point, it is common for them to tell you that things are worse than they originally thought and that they will need more money from you. This is how they keep these psychic scams going.

I have heard of people losing hundreds to more than a hundred thousand dollars to these psychic scams.

It's a slippery slope, but one that you're not going to fall for, because now you have lots of facts!

    Re: Pyschic scams

Beware of parlor tricks and charlatans. All the people were overcome with amazement and asked one another, "What is this message? With authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!He sacrificed his own son in the fire, practiced divination, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, arousing his anger.Furthermore, Josiah got rid of the mediums and spiritists, the household gods, the idols and all the other detestable things seen in Judah and Jerusalem. This he did to fulfill the requirements of the law written in the book that Hilkiah the priest had discovered in the temple of the LORD.Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom.

I think most people go because it's fun. Most don't really take it seriously.
