This is a great time of year to receive a phone call from the IRS concerning your "back" taxes. Scammers tell the person that unless they receive immediate payment, their bank accounts will be frozen or their driver's license will be taken away. Do not give in to these scammers. The IRS, as bad as I hate them, will never ask for payment over the phone.

"This year, IRS impersonators have become the largest and most pervasive scam, costing Americans $15.5 million. "
