Is Disney English Part Of China Foreign Teacher Visa Scam?

In China the risks of doing business with Chinese joint venture investors can get your ass in a jam real quick as 5 expat Disney English teachers just found out in Chengdu when they were detained (jailed) and will probably be deported soon for not having work visas and real diplomas.

The detailed story can be found here: http://eslwatch.info/forum/china/66-...engdu.html#156

But the real lesson to be learned here is BIG names in China mean nothing as more than half the private schools in China skirt the law to save money putting individual teacher employees at risk of being:

    <> ARRESTED

    <> JAILED

    <> FINED $2,000

    <> DEPORTED

    <> 5 YEAR REENTRY BAN

<> UNABLE TO GET TRAVEL VISAS EVER AGAIN

It will be interesting to see how Disney spins its way out if this one like they did with the teacher law suit last year.

It don't matter any more does? I mean those five teachers are already deported and Disney learned an embarrassing and expensive lesson. Whether they were in on or not the results are the same. Big loss of face in China and with expat teachers who probably won't trust them very much any more.

Thái bình dương or thai binh duong education schools, jobs or centers in Dongnai, Vietnam skirt the law as well to save money putting individual teacher employees at risk of being arrested or deported. It's exactly the same thing. Forever an underpaid wage slave no matter how many degrees you have. Teaching jobs in Vietnam? Read the warnings first.

Teachers mostly teach where students can learn widely except many detailed questions. English teaching in china can enhance many of schools growth by getting short courses for those who are learning geek. Teachers can teach Thesis Writing techniques but it takes time to understand.
