Bush Polls In Gutter - Going Down From There

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9672058/

The remarkable ( and specious ) thing about this data is that there could still be as many as 39% of the respondents who are that brain-dead. But, then again, I'm reminded of the H.L. Mencken quote: "No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public." I would add, The Bush Crime Gang has never lost a nickel underestimating their stupidity as well.

My Reiki Master (Japanese art of healing hands), Jim Hicks (Medicine Bird) is a Memphian and History prof who get run out of academia (Ole Miss) in the old days for being too much of a 'nigger lover', uses 'stupidity' rather than 'taste' when he uses that H.L. Mencken cite.

Both words clearly work in context of what Mencken was trying to convey.

The Bush Crime Gang and their multi-national industrialist gangster banker cronies have been spreading their lies on the collective consciousness of the media consuming public since at least 1915 that I know of; so maybe we should have some hope for the general body politic because 61% can see through them.

Can we compare these to the hero of the left Billy-bob clinton? He didn't even have a war going on. In fact, he did everything he could to avoid dealing with terrorism. Here's Clit-on's %'s. Man, there's some pretty low numbers there folks.

Our 5th grade teacher used to shriek at us "Come to the here and now!" when we would slip too far into the past or future with our reasoning.

Bill Clinton is a done deal. It's dubya's turn to get DUNCE CAPPED.

What a shame. Some Monkeys are even still living their pointless, empty lives with their heads buried in Clinton's underwear when they aren't dreaming about having their noses buried up Bush's assh*le. And now we have a column of utterly meaningless ratios without sourcing or reference. Well, at least it's some kind of diversion from Clinton's zipper, if for a moment. Is this progress? Try a Bush Gang coloring book.

Apparently, one has to go back to Kennedy to find a president with a higher (lowest) rating...Carter clocked in once at 28%! I think that as gas prices go lower, more good economic news continues and our troops start coming home, his scores will come up. As long as the control of congress is held, and it will be, IT DOESN'T MATTER what his scores are...it just gives liberals a rare whiff, a teasing glimpse, a tantalizing fantasy of victory. So close and yet so very, very, very, very far away.

Amen to that! Sometimes it is necessary to get down in the gutters. That is where one must go to communicate with and help those poor souls who end up there as a result of past Democratic (Socialistic/Communist/Welfare Creating) reins of power.

Gas at the pump is lower because demand was lower.

Demand for gasoline within in the U.S., however, has weakened, averaging 8.8 million bpd, or 2.4 percent below last year, according to a government report released Thursday.
    MORE

Heating oil and gas are still expected to go way up...

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates that heating bills for all fuel types will cost Americans about one-third more this winter on average, assuming typical weather. A colder-than-normal winter could lift energy prices nearly 50 percent.
    MORE

The 55 percent of Americans who use natural gas to heat their homes could see even greater sticker shock when they get their fuel bills, the agency warned.
    MORE

So I wouldn't count on falling gas prices to make your president a more popular guy.

As far as the economy getting better. Welllll, not according to one of your favorite news sources, pwrone.

You might not want to roll out the red carpet for our troops yet (though they certainly do deserve it). It kind of looks like they are going to be hanging out in Iraq for awhile. (Maybe whatever democrat takes over the presidency in 2008, will bring them home.)

I think what you are smelling pwrone is Bush crapping his pants. :) To the dogs on the right, that would be tantalizing. Get your nose out of his butt pwrone. Down boy!

Poll: Bush Presidency Judged Unsuccessful By WILL LESTER, Associated Press Writer
Fri Oct 14, 8:28 AM ET

WASHINGTON - For the first time, more people say George W. Bush's presidency will be judged as unsuccessful than say it will be seen as a success, a poll finds.

Forty-one percent of respondents said Bush's presidency will be seen as unsuccessful in the long run, while 26 percent said the opposite. Thirty-five percent said it was too early to tell, according to the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press.

In January, 36 percent said successful and 27 percent said unsuccessful.

The increasing pessimism about Bush's long-term prospects comes at a time when many polls have found the public increasingly is negative about Bush's performance and the direction of the country.

Seven in 10 said they want the next president to offer policies and programs that are different from the Bush administration's.

Only half said they wanted the next president to offer different policies in 2000, at the end of the Clinton presidency. By a 2-1 margin, people said the Bush administration has had a negative impact on politics and the way government works.

People were inclined to say Bush's policies have made things worse on a wide range of issues such as the federal budget deficit, the gap between rich and poor, health care, the economy, relations with U.S. allies, the tax system and education. By 47 percent to 30 percent, those surveyed said Bush has improved the situation with national security.

Republicans give the president mixed reviews in many of these areas. Almost half of Republicans said Bush's policies have made the deficit worse and just 12 percent say he has improved that situation.

The poll of 1,500 adults was taken Oct. 6-10 and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
