Russia-USA: the heavy consequences of discord (Putin)

Russia hopes the United States will remember the serious consequences that discord between nuclear powers pose to strategic stability, said Thursday Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with the Serbian newspaper Politika.

"The current cooling in relations between our countries is not the first. Hopefully that partners are aware of the inconsistency of attempts to blackmail Russia and they will remember the risks that discord between major powers poses to nuclear strategic stability. on our side, we are ready to develop constructive cooperation based on equal rights and real consideration of mutual interests, "said the head of the Russian state.
According to him, Russia has always aspired to open partnership relations with the United States, but has repeatedly come up against attempts to interfere in its internal affairs.
"This has been happening since the beginning of this year is more and more overwhelming. Washington has actively supported the Maidan and when his supporters in Kiev by their unbridled nationalism mounted against them much of Ukraine and unleashed a civil War he began to accuse Russia of provoking the crisis, "lamented the Russian president.
Russian-US relations deteriorated sharply following the accession of the former Ukrainian Republic of Crimea to Russia, considered an annexation Kiev and the West.
Washington accuses the Russian authorities to destabilize Ukraine, which Moscow denies. Against the backdrop of crisis in Ukraine, the United States and the European Union have imposed several rounds of sanctions against Russia.

I don't know .... all depends if God was on Putin's side:

George Bush has claimed he was on a mission from God when he launched the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, according to a senior Palestinian politician in an interview to be broadcast by the BBC later this month.

Looks like George Bush too much smoked something strong if he decided that he was on a mission from God.
