Poll: Bush A Bigger Problem Than Terrorism

The headline of the latest CBS News Poll was Bush Ratings Hit New Low - only 37% approve while 58% disapprove. Bush is on his way to becoming the Most Hated President in American history.

As I read through the results, one number really struck me: the "most important problem" facing the U.S.

    ----------- 10/05 9/05
    War in Iraq 18% 13%
    Economy and Jobs 16% 14%
    President Bush 5% 5%
    Gas/oil crisis 5% 9%
    Terrorism 4% 6%

Look at this carefully - Americans see BUSH as a Bigger Problem than TERRORISM! (And he is tied for Biggest Problem with $3 Gas).

Not too sure about the validy of this research considering its conducted by Democrats.com..not sure whether the survey's demographics were fair...obviously if they only asked people in democrats areas the results are probably not representative of the nation!...i don't like Bush but if we attack him make sure that you do so with some valid statistics...otherwise we look dumber than Bush does on any given day.

It wasn't conducted by democrats.com. It was conducted by CBS News.

Public Opinion Polls, regardless of the political orientation of the pollsters doing the polling, use pretty much the same methods and programs to run their polls, and 'crunch' the numbers down into graphs and tables.

Those methods and programs are generally not very accurate under ideal conditions (large population to sample and a good random sampling of the population).

Add in factors such as bias on the part of the investigators, a limited sample population and selective sampling and the results will say whatever it is the pollster was trying to get them to say.

There have, however, been quite a few polls like this one in the past few months that all seem to agree that more people are unhappy with dubya's performance of his duties as Chief Executive Officer/President, U.S.A., Inc. #0034 Poll: (POTUS) Scam STYLE:))
