Black Arrow Software - Bitcoin Miner Scam

Ordered a bitcoin miner from a company in Hong Kong/China known as Black Arrow LTD. They had history of shipping so i figured i would take the chance. The experience has been nothing but dissapointing.

    http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/

Black Arrow Software outdid Butterfly Labs in this pre-order scam. 9 months after I placed an order, I have yet to see a product. It is 6 months late of the initial "ship date" that they had posted on their website. When asked for a tracking number, the customer service rep replies with "I do not have access to the database, but your miner should be shipping out as soon as possible"

When asked for a refund, well refunds are not accepted, as they are out of money because they spent all their money on components for the miners. They pushed the shipping dates back week after week. Always coming up with a new reason that they cannot assemble or ship the miners. After 5 months of "unforseen problems and shipping delays" they go silent for 2 weeks, and then send an advertisement to customers about a new scrypt (diffnerent type of crypto-coin) miner that will be ready for December, and that they are "taking preorders now!" The reason no one has received their miners is because they are mining with them and making alot of money while tinkering with their new prototype miners.

If you actually want to read the weeky updates, see here:

They have been known to troll their own customers on the bitcointalk.org forums trying to deflect any negativity and make excuses for themselves. On their own forum, ecointalk.net they actually delete negative posts on their form in order to keep the pre-orders rolling in. It is truly a scam that keeps on scamming.

One of the employees has admitted on a forum to having miners, yet no X-3s have been shipped to my knowledge.

When questioned about compensation for the insanely late shipping time, they promise to "look into a new compensation plan after all initial orders have shipped to customers" in other words "we are going to slowly ship your initial purchases to prevent getting sued and then promise the world with the compensation units that will be worth less than the shipping fees once they are ready to go"

If you have purchased any equipment from Black Arrow Software, here is how to file a complaint with the Hong Kong Consumer Council

The company is registered in Hong Kong, so the proper agency from what I have been able to find out so far is the Hong Kong Consumer Council.

They request some documents and need to establish that this is a Hong Kong registered company before they will agree to pick it up, therefore:

    Send the annual report http://www.kiwi.nz/blackarrow/PS300015776549_01.pdf

along with the documents they have requested. Those documents are:

    1. The invoice showing you paid
2 your bank or payment records showing the payment
    3. any e-mail or support discussions you've had
    4. The annual report referenced above.

Here's the link to file a complaint if you decide you want to do that.

    https://www.consumer.org.hk/cc-compl...ex.php?lang=en

Also indicate that their TOS indicates Hong Kong law and paste that in to your message.

15.2 Applicable law and dispute resolution
16.2 1 This Agreement shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with the law of Hong Kong S.A.R. of PRC.

Re: Black Arrow Software - Bitcoin Miner Scam

Thanks for posting up that information on a scam.

Making a scammer's scam googlable on every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find is a great way to slow that scammer down when a suspicious potential victim goes looking for information, finds your post containing the name the scammer is using, his email address, phone number and the emails themselves and then that potential victim does not become a scam victim because you took the time "get the word out".

I am in the same situation. They try to remake money with 14nm & litecoin miners. So it is very important for other people to know what blackarrowsoftware does!

I have received my X1 but it was too late to get rich with it.

After thorough investigation I discovered that this is the person behind Black Arrow:
