    Travel Coordinator Job Description POSITION DESCRIPTION
    Currently “Nouvelles Frontieres” Voyages Agency has a vacant position of a Travel Coordinator. The functional duties of the requested specialist are as follows: On behalf of our Company Travel Coordinator presents the whole range of services to our customer tourists and his/her duties include the whole chain of assignments: selecting a necessary tour; travel presentation; meeting customer tourists at the airport after their arrival. Travel Coordinator must be customer-oriented and very communicable and has to consider customers’ requirements and interests as a priority. In some cases, if there is necessity, Travel Coordinator has to assist in processing advance payments / full payments from customers for arranging local or outgoing tours. Generally this is required if a customer tourist from the USA wants to pay by check (cheque) and intends to visit e.g. Lisbon, Portugal. It is known, that USA checks are not effective in some countries and the network of American banking subsidiaries is underdeveloped so far. Or sometimes a customer tourist intends to select an individual tour including visits to distant locations. If we have such an order, the Company rents a private house for accommodation of our customer. Many owners of such houses also don’t have full access to bank transactions and, therefore our Company pays for rent and related services in cash through P2P systems. Consequently, if we have a customer’s order, the Travel Coordinator receives the payment from the customer as the tour prepayment/payment, informs his/her manager of all details, transfers the amount through instant money transfer systems (Western Union, Money Gram) to our branch or directly to the PH owner. The Travel Coordinator receives required money transfer details by e-mail from his/her personal manager. The Travel Coordinator compensation directly depends on the number of customers. At the initial stage it amounts to 3% of the sum processed. However, there is an obligatory condition - Travel Coordinator should complete the whole money transfer process within 4 hours. Travel Coordinator provides the Company with one more incontestable advantage. Our customers get very quick service and all necessary documents (i.e. tickets, reservation, etc.) very promptly. Generally, within 12 hours, i.e. beginning from the tour prepayment up to the 100% readiness to welcome and service the tourist. “Nouvelles Frontieres” is the leading agency in this sphere!
    • Private online training (person-to-person);
    • Opportunity of stable career promotion and personal development;
    • In-depth training and work in dynamic friendly air in a benevolent team;
    • Competitive wage (2,200 USD +);
    • Wage-plus-bonus remuneration system (3% from each completed payment processed by you);
    • Comprehensive Benefits Package Health-Care Coverage 401(k);
    It’s a part time position. Work will take only 3-4 hours a day (20 hours a week). This position may require work after regular business hours or on weekends, though.
    We provide one payroll period. The Travel Coordinator’s base monthly salary comprises 2,200.00 USD. If the Travel Coordinator processes payments from customers, he/she gets 3% commission per each order completed (usually in total from 300.00 USD up to 3000.00 USD per month). The Travel Coordinator’s salary is paid as a direct deposit to his/her bank account or using any other payment method convenient to employee. The Company does not provide any tax forms - Travel Coordinator pays local taxes himself/herself. Payroll period id 30 calendar days beginning from the date of registration at the Company (usually it is 2-10 days after signing the mutually binding EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT). Payment is issued at the end of each payroll period.

    I think I need to see the agreement and the QUESTIONS they ask. Might be real, might be identity theft.

    Re: Wondering if this is a scam???

    100% scam.

    There is no job. There is only a scammer trying to steal your hard-earned money.

    The next email will be from another of the scammer's fake names and free email addresses pretending to be the "secretary/assistant/accountant" and will demand you accept a fake bank deposit. The deposit will be from a stolen credit card, hi-jacked paypal account or phished bank account. You are then suppose to withdrawal the money before your bank realizes the transfer was made with stolen money. You are suppose to send the "money" via Western Union or moneygram back to the scammer posing as the "supply company" while you "keep" a small portion. When the credit card/paypal/bank account owner realizes their money is in your account, your bank reverses the transfer now you get the real life job of paying back the bank for all the bank's money you sent to an overseas criminal.

    Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever.

    Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money to a scammer.

    6 "Rules to follow" to avoid most fake jobs:
    1) Job asks you to use your personal bank account and/or open a new one.
    2) Job asks you to print/mail/cash a check or money order.
    3) Job asks you to use Western Union or moneygram in any capacity.
    4) Job asks you to accept packages and re-ship them on to anyone.
    5) Job asks you to pay visas, travel fees via Western Union or moneygram.
    6) Job asks you to sign up for a credit reporting or identity verification site.

    Avoiding all jobs that mention any of the above listed 'red flags' and you will miss nearly all fake jobs. Only scammers ask you to do any of the above. No. Exceptions. Ever. For any reason.

    If you google "fake check cashing job", "fake job bank account Western Union scam", "money mule moneygram scam" or something similar you will find hundreds of posts from victims and near-victims of this type of scam.
