Amway proposes changes to the base comp plan

Amway North America has proposed changes to the basic compensation plan, the biggest being removal of the 3% and 6% bonus levels, and dropping the 9% qualification volume significantly. It's estimated it will significantly improve the bonus incomes for active IBOs.

    What do you think, Jokey?

    What do you think
The changes look like an improvement on the current system but it still doesn't reward the person who makes the sales. Somewhere upline is where the lion's share of the bonus generated is going.

The person "who makes the sales" earns between 25% and 52%, including any volume bonuses. The total bonus shared between both IBO making the sale and "upline" is approx 32%. An immediate upline Diamond makes at most about 5% on an IBO in a platinum groups sale.

    The "lion's share"?

In the new plan someone with 100PV makes up to 35% on the sale. In the old plan up to 38%.

In theory. In reality, many IBO's sell at cost as evidenced on ebay and craigslist.

You mean the place where last time you claimed this we could find hardly anyone selling Amway products, and those we did find were mostly selling for more than recommended retail price?

Jokey, add up all the product on ebay then divide it into the 1 billion USD that Amway sell every month. Let us know your answer.

Of course its not, you made the claim that ''many'' IBO's sell on ebay. Showing the number and comparing it with Amway sales will tell us how you define ''many''.

I believe it's against Amway rules for IBO's to sell on ebay, by the way.

Re: Amway proposes changes to the base comp plan

Quixtar hasn't existed in years, so haven't even bothered with that link

Ebay India? So we're talking global here. None of those products listed were selling at IBO price or less, many were advertised at more than recommended retail price

You're not doing your argument much good so far!

All "buy it now" products were selling for higher than IBO price, some where high than rec retail

    ditto

You already mentioned that one. Doing it tough eh?

I believe it's against Amway rules for IBO's to sell on ebay, by the way.
It is. Probably one reason you could hardly find any ...... :judges:

Pretty lame of Amway to restrict IBO's from selling their products on ebay or amazon or craigslist. Aren't IBO's supposed to sell Amway products?

You were an IBO for how long, and been critizing Amway for how long and you never learned the rationale behind this?

One begins to wonder if there's anything you do know about Amway ....

You mean do like every other company does when it licences their products and services out to resellers?
