Will Jay Leno take over David Letterman's spot after he retires ?

I know I am speculating here, but I predict that Jay Leno will move to CBS and take over David Lettermans spot on the late night show after he retires.

A.) Jay is bitter, shoved off while on top, going to CBS is a big F U.
B.) This will prove who is better, a young fresh Jimmy Fallon or a played out hack old comedian.
C.) CBS doesn't really have anyone good, Jay will come out of the gate running.
D.) The free publicity from this translates into 1/2 billion $$$ in free advertising.
E.) People love the underdog and this is a juicy story.
F.) I see another movie about Late Night Wars here.
G.) Jay is a workaholic, he does 300+ gigs a year AND his show, he's restless at home.
    H.) Lastly....money, money, money, money , money.
    When in doubt, Meditate!

    don't see it ...

I don't find Leno to be naturally funny .... Letterman is and would rather see Jimmy Kimmel
as he has a natural sense of humor and Leno seems being funny is something he has to work
at instead of letting if flow

Jon Stewart would be an excellent choice as Stewart is excellent at comedy central

I'd personally love to see it. I used to DVR his show and watch it the next day every day. Firing Jay was a HUGE mistake by NBC. Jay's show was the highest rated late night talk show, if CBS signs him, I would certainly watch the new show.

No one can replace Letterman. I'm sure Jay Leno will carry on and even pick up some of Letterman's fans, but he will can't replace him.
