    Iran Endorses Obama

    Larijani: Iran prefers Obama
Iranian parliament speaker says his country is leaning towards Democratic candidate in US presidential election 'because he is more flexible and rational'
    AFP

Iranian parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said Wednesday that Iran would prefer Democrat Barack Obama in the White House next year. Larijani also dismissed any idea that the US would attack Iran.

"We are leaning more in favor of Barack Obama because he is more flexible and rational, even though we know American policy will not change that much," Larijani said at a press conference during a visit to Bahrain.

How to deal with Iran and the crisis over its nuclear drive has been one of the foreign policy issues in the Nov. 4 race for the White House between Obama and Republican John McCain.

Al Qaeda Supporting McCain? No, Not Really
The media embraces a silly theory based on Internet forum posts by "desktop jihadists."
    October 23, 2008 - by Patrick Poole

Lefty bloggers and pundits are ecstatic over a Washington Post article published Wednesday which reported that online forums frequented by al-Qaeda enthusiasts have expressed support for John McCain. According to the article, forum postings gloat over the present economic downturn, and hope that a McCain presidency and a continuation of the war on terror would play into their quagmire strategy:

In language that was by turns mocking and ominous, the newest posting credited Al Qaeda with having lured Washington into a trap that had exhausted its resources and bankrupted its economy. It further suggested that a terrorist strike might swing the election to McCain and guarantee an expansion of U.S. military commitments in the Islamic world.

The reality, however, is that this is just more wishful thinking on the part of the establishment media trying to give Barack Obama cover for his wrong-headed opposition to the surge in Iraq. With Obama having spectacularly failed the commander-in-chief test with his Ill win this election by losing this war strategy (as opposed to McCains Id rather lose an election than lose a war approach), they hope to give their man some props by trying to burden the McCain campaign down with the al-Qaeda albatross. The Post must also ignore its own report published over the weekend that these same jihadist forums have faced extreme difficulty just staying online in recent weeks as al-Qaeda communications have faced a near-complete breakdown.

The internet posting cited by the Washington Post is not an official statement by al-Qaedas media arm, al-Sahab. In fact it is little more than some Ahmed from Amman desktop jihadist trying to steel himself for a possible McCain victory. The media appears to be doing the same as well.

Which is an al Qaida endorsement, since Ahmed has long been identified as one of "al-Sahab's" arms...

Just to keep things on topic, let me remind everyone that

An Iranian parliament Speaker endorsed Obama

It wasn't some demented wanna-bee terrorist typing out a message on an internet forum... It's called "credibility". Look into it Nick.

I endorse the Israelis turning all the sand in Iran into glass and making BadMood I-am-a-nut-job and his blood sucking islamo-fascist mullahs glow in the ing dark.

All this foreign endorsement is going to backfire like it always does. The perception that Obama is Europe's candidate and extremists like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad backing him are just going to piss sensible people off. Look what happened when Bin Laden threatened people not to vote for Bush.
