    Just need to make a few bucks not $1mill

    I'm just looking to make a few extra bucks doing some work part-time, even if it's data entry type drudgery. I'm not looking to start a new business or make $1million in one month or any of that nonsense. I certainly don't want to spend lots of money just to become part of something that I don't even know is legit or not.

    Any suggestions?

    You shouldn't spend ANY money if you aren't starting a legit business. Apply at the companies that hire for things you are experienced in.

    Yeah, if you're not looking into starting up your own business, shelling out money will likely only lead to disappoint (paying for crummy ebooks or bogus WAH opps).

    There are call centers and similar types of places who look to homeshoring for employees. I know not too many people like work phone rep jobs...but its always an option. The pay typically isn't stellar, but oh well. I have seen companies that do offer higher pay, but they can offer higher wages by not training the employees themselves (requires potential employees to pay for their own training).

    But there are options out there...just not always fun ones :)

    See, if your local newspaper, if you have a local newspaper. You can deliver all the newspapers at the drop off point for the newspaper delivery person. Some newspaper places, need people to INSERT the newspaper SALE papers into the newspapers, it is boring but they pay you money regardless.

    Well, it just depends on the skills you have.
    • If you are really good at english you could proof-read for students or type their work and they will pay.
    • If you are good at maths, you could coach some students and their parents will pay.
    • You could make stuff.
    • Photography ----> Be a freelancer.
    • You could write for newspapers, you could type.
    • Design webpages for small businesses.
    Just depends on the skills and talents you have.
    • You could be a freelance hairstylist, I'm not sure if you're male or female.
    Use your natural talents...

    Last of all, if you don't have a job, start looking, sometimes you just need something to tide you over until you get a better opportunity.
