BPM Consumer Research PLC & Check for $3,969.99!

    Hey Ya'll.
I received a letter from BPM Consumer Research PLC that says I have been chosen as a "Mystery Shopper". Enclosed were various other paper work as well as a check from the Bank of Nashville in TN. There is such a bank listed when I checked up on it. I also see that the phone number is a cell phone with Fido Solutions as the Provider. They are located in VanCouver, BC. The post mark is from CANADA and the return address is New York!

So....I did contact my police department via e-mail. No reply.

I did contact the mayor of VanCouver, BC. They suggested that I contact the Better Business Bureau of Van Couver. I did...no reply.

So, has anyone else gotten this?

Mystery Shopping companies never pay in advance. And you have to register with them in advance to recieve assignment.

What you have is Nigerian 419 Advanced payment scam.

:sun_smiley:Thanks for the reply. I think I will again contact the local police so that the elderly, very young and the desperate may be warned about this scam. Perhaps a call to my local TV station....hmmmmmmmm:spin2:
