    Notes On Iraq, With Addendum

This has been around...but it is worth noting...

    INTERESTING notes from history -

    1. The Garden of Eden was in Iraq
    2. Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq , was the cradle of civilization!
    3. Noah built the ark in Iraq
    4. The Tower of Babel was in Iraq
    5. Abraham was from Ur, which is in Southern Iraq!
    6. Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, which is in Iraq!
    7. Jacob met Rachel in Iraq
    8. Jonah preached in Nineveh - which is in Iraq
    9. Assyria, which is in Iraq, conquered the ten tribes of Israel
    10. Amos cried out in Iraq!
    11. Babylon , which is in Iraq , destroyed Jerusalem
    12. Daniel was in the lion's den in Iraq!
    13. The three Hebrew children were in the fire in Iraq (Jesus had been in Iraq also as the fourth person in the Fiery Furnace!)
    14. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon saw the "writing on the wall" in Iraq
    15. Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, carried the Jews captive into Iraq
    16. Ezekiel preached in Iraq ...
    17. The wise men were from Iraq ...
    18. Peter preached in Iraq ...
    19. The "Empire of Man" described in Revelation is called Babylon,
which was a city in Iraq !

And you have probably seen this one: Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible.

But do you know which nation is second?

    It is Iraq !

However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible.

The names used in the Bible are Babylon , Land of Shinar , and Mesopotamia . The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris...And Euphrates Rivers ...

The name Iraq , means "country with deep roots".

Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible.

No other nation, except Israel , has more history and prophecy associated with it than Iraq

And also, This is something to think about:
Since America is typically represented by an eagle.

Saddam & Ossama Bin Ladin should have read up on their Muslim passages...

The following verse is from the Koran,
Koran ( 9:11 ) - For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle.. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; And there was peace.

    (Note the verse number!) Hmmmmmmm?!

I don't know what Christian anti-Islamic web site you got your information from. But it is totally wrong. Look it up yourself and you will see this is a bogus lie.

Here is what Sura (chapter) 9:11 says in the Quran

9:11 If they repent and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give
the obligatory charity (Zakat), then they are your brethren in religion.
We thus explain the revelations for people who know.

The verse is instructing Muslims to always remember to pray and give generously to the poor people among them.

    Hardly an act of terror.

Just more idiotic nonsense spread by misinformed, gulible, Christians.

Yes David...I have been waiting all these weeks till the forum came back up...to stalk you. I am going to stalk some nut job that threatened my life over the Internet

David...I just received it by E-Mail from a friend.

You have some serious issues. Or is that part of your religion...extreme paranoia?

    Have you taken your medication?

Interesting info, Matthew. Too bad the Koran quote was fake. But take heart. Our right to defend ourselves against radical Muslims remains intact. Nothing can take that away from us.

Hey fella get a grip. Didn't you see the smily face at the end of my sentence?

I remember on one of your posts you said that you were a thespain. But don't you think you are going a little heavy on the melodrama. (Stanislavski wouldn't be proud of you if he saw the histronics displayed on your post)

I hadn't ever seen you post on other forms besides the business/mlm threads. Just seemed unusual and out of character for you.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I take No medication.

But it does seem like all I have to do I responed respectfully to something that you have said. And you go on a full out attack.

I didn't attack you, your religion, your mental health, or anything.

    I agree.

Radicals in many religions are not following the teachings that are in their Holy Books. Whether they be Christian, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, or any religion.

The best thing that people of all faiths can do is dialogue with each other, and unite against the radical elements causing chaos in the world.

You're right, Dawud. There are radicals in all religions. But only one group of those radicals is calling for an empire stretching from Iraq to Spain and bombing and beheading people from America to Indonesia. I think you know which group that is.

Yes I know exactly who you mean.

That would be the American military lead by Bush and the Radical Republicans. They are bombing and killing people all over the world in the name of democracy and freedom.

The Radical Christians are calling for the whole world to be converted to Christianity and are backing the Bush Criminal Gang as they cause choas all over the world.

Hey Maiden, read your profile. I also hail from the Lone Star State. Austin, Texas to be exact.
I have moved within the last year to Boston, Mass. to get married.
Man oh man, this place is filled with Yankees!
I am slowly adjusting, but it has been a culture shock.
The biggest thing that I miss is real TexMex and BBQ Texas style.

So you're from our liberal capital, Dawud ? That explains your anti-Bush, anti-Christian rant. And as for Texas BBQ, no one made it like my Daddy who, sadly, has passed on.

I am in No way a liberal.

I am Pro gun rights, Pro death penalty, Pro "legal" immigration, Pro build the fence at the border

    I am anti-abortion, anti-gay marriage, anti-drugs, anti-gays in the military, anti-"illegal" immigration

If you reread my previous posts you will understand that I am in No way against Christians. I am against "Radical" Christians who promote violence and war mongering in the name of God.

As for Bush. I was a Republican for many years and even voted for Bush the first time. But now I am disgusted with him and the republican party. And very dissatified with the blood bath in Iraq.
