    Mentors In Motion...What The Hell?!

    Wow...
I never thought I'd be saying this, but I believe I'm going to have to change my mind about MIM.

Not the marketing plan...I believe that's legit.

But Val...what the heck is Val doing?

He used to have Mentors In Motion Fast-Track which cost $199 to join and consisted of 3 Saturday live teleconference training events(mini-seminars) as well as access to his Thursday and Sunday weekly training calls...

Mentors In Motion - Makers of Millionaires, which cost $499 to join and consisted of access to the above minus the Saturday event...
Plus getting the 3 1/2 hours of power seminar, some leads to get started and Charles Haanel's book, 'The Master Key,' a free voicemail/fax service, info on free conference call services that could hold up to 100 people on a line at one time and various other goodies...

Mentors In Motion - Mentoring With Millionaires, a $1299 package that includes everything from Fast Track and MIM, plus an audio version of Charles Haanels book and a lot more leads...

Destination Excitement, $149, which consisted of travel vouchers and coupons, shopping sprees, etc to give as incentives in marketing...

    Know what I found out?

All of the above is going down the drain...?

Val Smyth did away with MIM Fast Track...which means that all the 'students' he had in that level are SOL?
Val Smyth is allowing certain of his organization to GIVE AWAY the MIM course - $499 package?
Val Smyth did away with Mentoring With Millionaires and is now offering The Master Key study course ebook and audio free?
Val Smyth did away with his Destination Excitement business?

Where does this leave all the folks that joined these branches to make money direct selling?

Val Smyth was rated one of the top three marketers in the world in '97??
    Really?

He was with Life Force International for quite a while...but decides to drop ship and run to Amigo Health?
Teams up with a lady there and pulls his org from LFI along with him to his new business venture....then holds conference calls patting himself and his marketing partner on the back for maxing out the payplan in a week...?

I've heard the ter m MLM ***** before...I've used the ter m. Never thought I'd say it about Val.

Someone out there...I truly do want to believe the best.
If I've got this all backwards, please feel free to correct my blunder...

How ya liking this new MIM online magazine crap that's being marketed by this guy?

WOW - I know this is a blast from the past, but I want to be clear about something in light of the latest MIM/LLI type hybrid "*-Up system." Empower Network

...and this is hard for me to say, since I ragged on William Jaroske so hard back in the day. (still think he's an idiot) But concerning Mentors In Motion (MIM), Val Smyth, seminar deals, 1-up, 2-up, 5-up, etc deals; they're money games. In good 'ol Willy J's words, they rob Peter to pay Paul.

I was there when Val was presenting and running MIM. I drank that kool-aid. I was there when he was doing the fast track and the makers of millionaires. Drank that as well. I was there for Destination Excitement (boy that fizzled quick!)
I was there when he was pushing Life Force Intl. I drank that one up as well.(what got me was the story about his hospitalized ailing dying mother who started feeling better taking the products, but the docs convinced her to stop and she died on pharma meds.)

And I was there, one among a multitude, as he shut down his "operations," changed directions from LFI, and hopped on over to Amiga Health (which is now defunct)....and that's where my personal trail of him goes cold.

*Note* for the record, I do NOT think LFI was or is a scam. Just Val Smyth and his methods...

The guy sure can sell. I'll give him that.

To bring this thought forward, if you or someone you know is considering Empower Network, tread carefully!

Its more than likely not going to break your bank account (if you are not living at poverty levels already) but you will never get the time back.

Nice research! A good read. This is what I have learned about these deals. The money is in the system and getting people to buy the cds , tapes, and literature, then recruiting people under them like a pyramid scheme. There's no magic. But if you can fill a room and recruit, then I guess it would be technically successful.:judges:

I myself have mad a breakthrough with MLM and I have seen many others do the same with the knowledge gaind from the EN product line.

This has all been said (and believed) before. By others. By me. Now by you about your current deal...and you're not lying.

Making a statement of belief is not the same as lying, even if the statement is false.

    We said it in MIM
We said it in Fast Track
We said it in Makers of Millionaires
We said it in Gino and Terry's Dream Team
We said it in Liberty League

Now its Empower Network's turn to run with the concept (both payplan and product) reworked, reworded, and repackaged.

Now why would I lie? I have NO reason to lie, especially here where I am NOT advertising for leads.
It is a fact that I used to spend many hours a day grinding at prospecting. I used to call lead after lead only to get hung up on, called nasty names, and even had threats!
I don't call leads anymore, I don't grind all day hunting leads down. I spend a couple hours a day posting quality ads in targeted markets, and I let my system work for me. It's automated, and my time is free to do other things. I have learned what to do, where to do it and when to do it. No need to lie about it.

Nope, say what you want, but I defend EN, I have learned a LOT. I have been in this industry a long time, and EN has taught me a lot more than what I knew.

What happens when there is no one left to buy your product?

Before you launch into a defense against saturation (myth, right?) take a look at what happened to LLI in particular and the others on the side.

    Imploded.

    Oh, lord!

You and your "gubment" questions. :spin2:

I suppose if they taxed us to the point of 100%, we'd be socialist everything, wouldn't we?

Stand in lines to get our monthly supply of allotted toilet paper and whatnot?

Well then when there is no one left to buy product, I guess it's over in the same way.

I think chances of that happening is not a real worry though.

    Why would you lie?

You pay "quartly" taxes out of your no office that magically turned into a home office. You are quite successful in your empower MLM scam even though you are not making money at it in the last six months. And your empower scam is the first one out of the last ten years that 'works'.

    Why would you lie?

I did you a favor. I was repeating things that you have said. How was it that you wanted to describe your own words?

It's always quite upsetting to the MLM scam artists when it gets pointed out that they can't keep their sh*t straight.

You are now trying to use chris doyle's and kerry hein's scam tactic of trying to get me to waste my time searching for links to things you know that you have said.

If you want to know the locations of your contradictory lies, look them up for yourself.

Oh, and if you think I would follow your 'orders', you are deluded. Only a stupid person would do that. Or an MLM downline victim.

HEY Dummy EMPOWERNETWORK Scam dude did YOU forget about this post

Empower Network Refused to refund $625 Internet, Internet

This company promised me 100% commissions on future sales, which turned out to not be true-

I found out that I only get 50% of my first 4 sales, and then 80% of every 5 sales thereafter. Spent $625 (required to make money from those I recruit through the site- yes, this is a thinly-masked pyramid scheme). Changed my mind when I realized I'd never be able to make my money back but they refuse to refund my costs.

Beware of this scam. You won't find negative reviews of this company online because the contract states that all users must agree to "not make any derogatory statements,

either oral or written, or otherwise disparage us, our products, employees, services, work or employment, and will take all reasonable steps to prevent others from making derogatory or disparaging statements.
You agree that it would be impossible, impractical, or extremely difficult to fix the actual damages suffered by reason of a breach of this paragraph, and accordingly hereby agree that Company may determine
recover five thousand dollars ($5,000) as the amount of damages sustained by reason of each such breach, without prejudice to Company's right to also seek injunctive or other equitable relief. "

LOL searched for Empower Network RIPOFF and BAM there it was Folks in bold print at ripoffreport.com

Yeah and what's that about being not able to say negative things about your scam company because they will sue anyone who does for $5000 if they DO !

Try thst BS on ME and YOU will be hard pressed to collect those funds
