    New to DIY, few questions

I'm considering trying a few DIY offers (freepay for PS3, Nuitech for Macbook Pro), and I have a few questions about these sites.

First of all, will this affect my credit if I am not applying for credit cards or loans or anything else that would knowingly directly affect my credit.

Second, to be legal about it, come tax time, I must claim anything I receive as gifts, correct? What kind of money am I going to be paying on a 2000 dollar gift?

Third, what reputable DIY sites are out there? From my own experience and this board I have seen freepay and nuitech are good. Anyone else? Anyone else I should look to get an easier deal for a ps3 or macbook pro?

    Thanks for all your answers!

your late in the game... my advice, stay away from NiuTech, they used to be great now they're IMPOSSIBLE.
