    Re: konigun ninjer fraud

Pageviews do not equal reading it.

People come in and see it is one person with 90+ posts and then leave... Maybe there is a reason no one has a comment

You have no way of knowing if someone views the thread briefly or reads the entire thing.

    Thank you for your opinion.

Not that it's any of your business, but I have received comments and information from ex-cult members who wish to remain anonymous via PM as a result of this thread. I do this to help them, and respect their wishes.

    Re: Shaolin/Ninjer Con

(It is obvious that Mr. Woodford is trying VERY hard to suck up to Pseudoshi so that he can become a part of the Goon Squad as quickly as possible. It looks as if he is on the right path, too. His profile (as of December 2007) indicated that he was already an assistant instructor AS A YELLOW BELT!!! This is an obvious indicator that he is Pseudoshi dallas’ favorite sycophant in China.)

“On the 8th and 12th of January, 2008, Shiroto Ellen and I, Monjin Trey, visited the South Shaolin temples of Quanzhou, Fujian, China in an truly historic event. In addition to making contributions to aid in the reconstruction of the main South Shaolin Temple (which was burned by decree of Emperor Qianlong, 4th emperor of the Qing dynasty, in 1763, and whose extensive reconstruction began on October 13, 1992, continuing into the present), we were also able to learn of many connections between konigun and Shaolin Kung Fu, hereinafter documented.

    Shaolin/Ninjer Con

“The primary item of significance in establishing the relationship between Konigun and Shaolin at the Dongchan temple was the placard shown above, which is mounted on the temple’s front entrance. It displays a warrior wielding a straight sword similar to the one used in Ninjutsu, as well as a sash being brandished as a weapon.

(Woodford actually admits that he is, himself, creating a fraudulent, fictional link between Shaolin chuan fa and the farcical art created in the 1980s by bryce dallas.)

(The ninja were not the first, or the only, people to use a straight-bladed sword in Japan. Japanese legend says that Amakuni, a gifted sword-maker, lived about 720 A.D. Prior to this time, Japanese swords were developed from copies of Chinese and Korean designs. They were straight, single or double-edged, and usually had two-handed grips. Amakuni is credited with developing the classically styled Japanese sword.)

(The sash in the placard is obviously not being “brandished as a weapon”, but used as an artistic background filler. To learn the real reason why the Shaolin monks use a sash, check the following: ) http://www.chinashaolintemple.com/da...rticle_166.htm

“It was also interesting to note the strength training equipment beside the dojo, echoing Shidoshi Bryce Dallas’s sound reasoning that strength training is an important element of developing one’s martial arts skills.

(And yet pseudoshi engages in no physical exercise for himself.)

“This account will focus on the similarities of weapons, stances, strikes, kicks, blocks, fluidity in movement, angles of movement, stealth, acrobatics, grapples, groundfighting, use of animal names, harmony of nature, dress, etc, between Konigun Ninjutsu and its great grandfather, Shaolin Kung Fu, which is regarded by many historians to be the first martial art, brought from India by Tat Moh, [sic] also known as Boddidharma [sic].

(The lights are on, but nobody’s home. If Ta Mo brought a martial art with him from India, would this not be a good indication that kung fu is not the “first” martial art, but more likely kalaripayattu or vajramushti, two of the martial arts used extensively by the kshatriya (warrior) caste in India? In any case, there are several martial arts indigenous to China which pre-date Shaolin chuan fa. Do your research, puppet.)

“Similar weapons used include the staff/cudgel, swords (straight and curved), sickle/kama, tonfa, chain, pen, fan, thrown missiles, pitchfork/sai, a weapon that was handed down from the Shaolin to the Yama Bushi [sic], Short stick or hanbo, 3 section staff, a straw hat used as a shield, the spear, the sash or belt, and the cane, just to name a few.

(The origins of the Okinawan sai are unclear. There is limited evidence that the sai may have originally been used to hold the wheels of a cart in place, or it may have been used as an agricultural tool to plant rice. It is known to have been used in Malay as the chabang (also tjabang) and is thought to be derived from an Indian trident. It is pure assumption on Woodford’s part to claim that it passed from the Shaolin monks to the yamabushi. The same can be said for all the weapons and arts he mentions.)

“The Yamabushi, from whom Konigun Ninja derived their training, are also said to have developed the naginata from the Chinese guan dao, a weapon with which the Shaolin still train extensively today.

(The naginata was not developed by the yamabushi, but from the Buddhist sohei “monk warriors”. The sohei were similar to the yamabushi, yet there were significant differences also. The sohei organized themselves into armies while the yamabushi remained solitary mountain ascetics. The Naginata was used by the sohei during the Nara period, around 750 A.D. It is mentioned in the Kojiki in 712 C.E.)

(The konigun ninjers derived their training from the cult founder - bryce dallas, who has never received any formal training from legitimate martial arts instructors and certainly not from any yamabushi.)

“It was noted that, despite the similarity of the 3 section staff and techniques thereof employed by both arts, the use of the nunchaku was conspicuous by its absence.

(The nunchaku is absent because it is an Okinawan karate implement and was therefore most likely never used by the Shaolin. There is no historical evidence that it was ever used by the ninja.)

“Principle differences in stances of the two styles include lots of stances in Shaolin Kung Fu with the weight on a deeply bent rear leg, and the front leg kept forward and almost straight, and frequent shifts in direction of such stances. One could reasonably speculate that these stances were eliminated from Konigun Ninjutsu with the aim of further reducing the risk of injuries to the knees due to the development of more brutal, offensive military arts (Imagine getting that lead leg chopped off by a low blow from a swiftly swung katana, or getting it hooked from underneath by a sickle or kama)

(There are no “stances” in authentic ninpo. The kamae are to be assumed only transitionally, not adopted and statically held. In comparing the pictured karate stance with Woodford‘s stance, it is obvious that konigun ninjerjitsu is derived from karate-based arts. It is also easy to see in comparing Hatsumi Sensei assuming an ichimonji no kamae posture and comparing this to the monk’s chuan fa stance that authentic ninpo has a much more clearly defined Chinese influence than does konigun.)
