Has anyone heard of MCM "Funtabulous Gifts and More!"? I received a postcard from them that you can become a Postcard Mailer and earn up to $20,000+ a month GUARANTEED! They have a pretty impressive website and I have requested information from them. They claim that they have been a member of the California Chamber of Commerce since 1999.

What part of this sentence does not scream scam?
For newbies, if they tell you that they guarantee that you will make money, they are scamming you. And next time post website. It would be easier to find what kind of scam they are in.

    MCM Post Card Mailers

    Aloha,

I received a post card from MCM "Funtabulous Gifts and Much More!" and they claim you can make up to $20,000+ a month mailing postcards for them. Their website is www.mcmfun.com They also claim to be a member of the California Chamber of Commerce since 1999. Has anyone heard of them or dealt with them? Is it a scam?? They have a very informative website.

    Re: Cookiemed

This is a mass mailing scam/scheme.

You pay for postage and supposedly receive commission from products sold through postcards you mailed. Problem is that you are essentially send spam and at best people reply to spam at 2/100 rate. With commissions rates usually really low, you will spend on stamps many times what you will get with commissions.

When you see this kind of scam you should think like this. Why would they give me a profitable job like this, if they can hire people at $5.25 an hour to do the same work? Or even simpler: order pre-stamped envelopes.

Boris, you are awesome. I really appreciate your input and have absolutely taken it to heart. As they say, if it's too good to be true, it probably is!

:) I have been working as a indepentent postcard mailer for mcm since
August 2005, in my opinion mcm is not a scam.
I'm now receiving checks every month, however they are small right now.
It's a numbers game really! You have to mail huge amounts of postcards
to get enough people to respond then they do the same thing, then in time
    everybody will make money.
The key to the business, don't stop keep mailing! and you make money,
    it's a slow process.
To date I've spent more money then I've made however I'll slowly turn
    that around, sounds crazy huh.
It's better than the retired attoney letter I get about every month (chain letter) to make $800,000 in 90 days or whatever! You all know that one.

    1. So you made this post about mcm postcard mailers back in Feburary of 07. So from that time until now, about how much have you made with mcm or about how much are your monthly checks now? $200 a month? $500 a month or how much have you made altogether with mcm postcard since Feburary of 07 when you last posted about this opportunity?

    2. Are you into any other money making opportunities? And if so, how much have you made with those other opportunities and can I join under you or something?
Ok reply asap to both of my questions but especially to my first question thanks.:spin2:

So your mailing postcards for people to buy the oppty so they can do the same thing? Sounds like a scam.

With the price of postcards and mailing going up these days and phone calls going down I would think voice blasting is the way to go.

I thinks that it is risky to working with them.
Have they any insurances? If no, then forget them.
