Mines going to sound pretty lame.. lol

I played the arcade version of Fruit Ninja last night and LOVED it! Arcade version meaning that I played the Giant Fruit Ninja vs the phone/tablet version... Really.. I was SUPER impressed!

Like I said.. it would sound lame but I was really loving it!

Other than that.. I am a diehard Mario or Zelda fan.. Come out with a new platform for any Mario or Zelda game and I will find a way to buy it..

Now I suspect what you are looking for is more along the lines of my son in law.. HUGE gamer...

Zelda is definitely where its at. From the very first one for Nintendo all the way to the Skyward Sword game for WII, I've played them all and beat the all (minus the game boy ones).
Love the strategy, the brain teasers, the riddles, and of course the characters who improve with each new game.

I like strategy games. Lately I've been playing 'American Civil War - Gettysburg'.
You have to take into account the terrain, unit type, cover, position, formation and obstacles. You can't play the same scenario the same way twice. You can also zoom in to view the action.

This is a shot of a Union platoon taking out a Confederate artillery position.

I've tried those types of games in the past...just can't seem to get into them.

Yeah... they're tough to get into.

This is how it looks when playing:

Which is a 'zoom in' of something like this:

Of course, once the action starts (once your units are in position after you've taken your turn) you can zoom in to see something like this:

I find the game very relaxing... it's great for unwinding.

    LMAO!!

One thing I've learned to appreciate from my game is the skill employed by the original commanders to achieve their goals/victories. If I fail I can start over... learning from my mistakes. If they failed it was all over... their failures cost lives, maybe theirs.

Puts me in mind of the warnings we were issued in school as I grew up about the dangers of racing games and how there are no real life "do-overs."

I guess I'd rather be (and am) the grunt than the command, in real life.

I like strategy, racing and 1st person shooters.
I don't have a lot of time nowadays so sometimes I just play Unreal Tournament (1999) for about 15-30 mins just to relax

I guess I'm not a "real" gamer like my sons who play WOW etc.

I used to play at actual arcades, back in the 80's. PacMan was huge back then but I didn't like it much. I liked Galaga, and Joust where you are a knight riding an ostrich. I went through a lot of quarters back in the day.

I've always liked the Angry Birds series. The space version is my least favorite.

My favorite old retro game is Tetris on my phone. There something satisfying about neatly nesting oddly shaped blocks. In my past life I must've been a Fed Ex truck loader.

Most recently I've been playing Facebook's Texas Hold'em Poker. I'm new to the game and really enjoy it. My ipod version tells me I have a 14% win rate - lots of room for improvement. Other times I do so well I think, "I could play this for real at the casino!" I haven't tried that - yet.

AC3, the newest one was a BIG disappointment for me...I bought one in pre-release, within three weeks I was DONE with it...it was B-O-R-I-N-G, after going through the games story-line, there wasn't really much play left!

    Overall great game though...
