I have tried it, didn't work. Total scam and ripoff. Stay away from all those type at home and data processing stuff.

Here are some definitions from my experience:

Type at home = typing adverts and placing them on the internet or newspapers for the company you join and getting them customers leaving you with nothing but a bill to pay for adverts you placed.

Stuff envelopes = stuffing envelopes with adverts from the company you join leaving you with nothing but a bill to pay for envelopes, stamps and adverts you placed.

Im glad I did my research before paying the odd $40 to join. There are so many business opportuity=internet scams out there! It really gets my blood boiling. I am still trying to come up with my own ideas for a business but its hard starting out.....

I guess one idea would be if you had a product that you've either created yourself could sell over the Internet or if you help someone else sell their products for a commision. You have to do some marketing of course, which is the hardest part. I never got the hang of it.. and I've pretty much given up. Now I just work my usual 8-5 job and get a pay check every month.. and it's not so bad actually!! :)

I always figured they'd just take your $20-$40, then send instructions on how to setup your own site like the one you signed up on.

No they just want you spend money on Google advertising to send traffic back to their site for a commission. They probably figure if you're dumb enough to buy it, you'll be dumb enough to promote it.
