    Microsoft update email?

Hi I'm new here and wanted to start participating too.
I received this email and laughed at it at first but got puzzled by the sender's address. Anyone knows what this kind of email intends to?

Copy of email (I changed some caracters to make it more readible because of script issues, so please ignore the format. The actual email looked more professional):

    Microsoft Windows Updates

    Summary:
Who should receive this document: Customers who use Microsoft Windows
Impact of Vulnerability: Remote Code Execution and Local Elevation of Privilege
    Maximum Severity Rating: CRITICAL
Recommendation: Customers should apply the update immediately.
    Security Update Replacement: None
    Caveats: None
Tested Software and Security Update Download Locations:

    Affected Software:
-Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 : Download the update

    Non-Affected Software:
    -Microsoft Windows 95

    Executive Summary:

This update resolves a newly-discovered, privately-reported vulnerability. A remote code execution vulnerability exists in Plug and Play (PnP) that could allow an attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability to take complete control of the affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights.

Conclusion: We recommend that customers apply the update immediately.

    Re: Microsoft update email?

i'm still trying to figure out how they got that email address as i normally use another one for spammers.

Most likely, some of the companies I've been applying for jobs must have used that email the way they liked as it is the one displayed on my resume.
