Well.. It looks like The GOP candidates' foreign policy platform for 2012 employs some interesting strategies when it comes to winning the hearts and minds of our adversaries.

Not that there's anything new.

Lying, cheating, smearing, whining and criminal conduct have been the main pillars of the Republic Party agenda for decades.

When it comes to these lunatics, what else can you do but roll your eyes and wait for the typically horrific consequences followed by the usual denials and finger pointing - which, of couse, are the only things Rethuglicans are competent at.

At least they make it easy to understand why we have so many adversaries in the first place.

Top Iran General Threatens Retaliation Over Scientist Killing

Warns US, Britain and Israel Will All Be 'Held Accountable'

In an interview with the Iranian state media this weekend, Iran’s Deputy Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri promised retaliation against “supporters of state terrorism” related to the assassination of an Iranian scientist.

Insisting Iran would “hold the US, Britain and the Zionist regime (Israel) accountable” for the killing, Brig. Gen. Jazayeri promised a “punitive response” at some unspecified future date.

The assassination of Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan last week led to an angry response from the Iranian government, which says they have “reliable documents and evidence that this terrorist act was planned, guided and supported by the CIA.”

Assassinations of scientists inside Iran has become a favored tactic in recent months, though officials have largely publicly denied that they are directly involved. Interestingly, the tactic has gained considerable political traction among several Republican presidential nominees in the US, who say that such killings are laudable.

Willard Mitt Romney on Thursday labeled Obama as a "crony capitalist," without saying why.
Maybe he likes the way it sounds when it rolls off his forked tongue?.

"This president is a crony capitalist. He's a job killer," the liar said without offering proof or examples.
"This president has engaged and is engaging in crony capitalism," he repeated, for no reason.

Funny he'd level that charge at Obama when he's guilty of it. Willard has personally benefited from
what Michele Bachmann would certainly call "crony capitalism."

In 1991, he convinced Bush-the-snarter's federal government to forgive $10 million in debts owed by Bain & Co., a deal that helped prevent his company from failing and ultimately made him millions of dollars.
