Protest Scum Still Trying to Screw the USA

As liberals, they will do anything they can think of to diminish the quality of life for all. It is their way. They must be stamped out like a disease.

    OAKLAND, Calif. —
Anti-Wall Street protesters along the West Coast joined an effort Monday to blockade some of the nation's busiest ports from Anchorage, Alaska, to San Diego, with the thought that if they cut off the ports, they cut into corporate profits.

Demonstrators were to gather to march on the Port of Oakland, which Occupy protesters successfully shut down in November. Marchers also descended on the sprawling port complex spanning Los Angeles and Long Beach as the work day begins.

Occupy groups also planned blockades in Seattle and Tacoma, Wash., the Canadian city of Vancouver, British Columbia, and in Portland, Ore.

The protests being billed as action against "Wall Street on the waterfront" are perhaps the Occupy movement's most dramatic gesture since police raids sent most remaining camps scattering last month. Demonstrators began forming those camps around the country about two months ago to protest what they call corporate greed and economic inequality.

Kari Koch, organizer with Shut Down the Ports Working Group of Occupy Portland, said by shutting down the port, Wall Street will be unable to create profit.

"We will not stand for corporate profits at the expense of working people, we will not stand for attacks on workers, and we will not allow our schools to be closed, social services slashed, and families to be impoverished by your greed!" Koch said Monday in statement.

Just ONE question, because to tear apart the entire idiocy of your post would take much too much time.

Which politician has received the most money from Wall Street?

It is sad that so many believe mankind uncapeable of haveing a world that provides for the many rather than one that allows a few to rule and live elite lives. They do so on our backs and we gladly not only allow it, we beg for it. The rich do not creat jobs, consumers do. No rich man has ever built a business to build a product no one buys. If consumers have no money, no one will invest in manufactureing. If consumers have money burning holes in their pockets, then and only then will you see an increase in manufactreing.

You always know when Petey has gotten a furlough from his cage.

He just pops back in with his special brand of creepy.

And then things turn into the usual celebration of the ugliest and blackest features of the human psyche.

The leather mask makes it difficult for him to make regular appearances on-line for his slavering tirades of psychotic rage-hate against those he despises - the poor, the jobless, the outspoken who dare to try and exercise their human rights and protest the status quo.

Petey hates that. You know why?

He disdains and resents big government - unless big government has their goons in the streets brutalizing and stomping Americans for making trouble, ie: not keeping their mouths shut, not voting GOP, not supporting war crimes and Big Brother intrusion into people's personal lives, especially if they have a uterus.

But he hates the Big Government when it helps average Americans get some kind of a break, get an education, get a job, have a home.. etc.

    That's because he's a real patriot.

    LOL...what a ing douche.

This thread is about protest scum blocking ports, which will, of course, adversely affect the working man more than any corporation. Everything that have done so far has ONLY ed working people, as you must surely know.

But you don't really care about the 'topic of the thread', do ya? You never do.

Sad and laughable, all at once.

Which has aligned themselves with most of America??

IF the GOP and you fools don't change your tune... ya gotta listen to the music... and keep with the beat.
Yes, when I think downtrodden and poor, I think of GE being the largest contributor to Obama's election campaign and funny enough now pays no taxes thanks to absurd deductions. i think of Nancy pelosi's multi-million dollar real estate holdings in California. I think of Half a billion dollar payments to failed companies and multi-billion dollar bailouts to labor union held GM. I think of Union bosses practically owning the NLRB telling boeing where they can and cannot manufacture airplanes.

The only thing foul is your ignorance of the fact that never before has crony capitalism been so prevalent as it is in this administration.

GE was the largest corporate contributor to the Obama election and paid Zero taxes

You can choose to ignore it and scream about republican talking points, or discredit the source as liberals often love to do when they are wrong but the fact remains that those in Washington who are allying with the so called 99% are 1%ers themselves and stand to benefit most from any teardown of the private sector.

Nice posts and welcome to the forum.

'williejoe', also known by 'hermie' and several other names--is a pure spammer, something all forum members have to deal with.

It is our trade-off for having moderators who let the forum be as open as it is...they also don't give a about spammers--members here ONLY to derail and disrupt threads.

    Interestingly, they are always liberals.

It is best to simply ignore this creature, as everyone else has done for his entire life.

Re: Protest Scum Still Trying to Screw the USA

Brilliant irony, isn't it...? Those that are supposed to be defending the ideals of the "99%", those purporting that the poor are getting poorer and the rich are getting richer, are the ones who frequently aid that process...?

It's ing nuts. They're firing a fusillade of shit (sometimes literally) on the streets at the wrong target. They are fighting mere ideas; a corporation is not a conscious entity that knows ethical from unethical (and so I cringe when I hear an occupy protester say their message is intended for anything general - "corporations", "banks", "the government")

And all the while forgetting that these things are comprised of people - sometimes greedy people, immoral people, stupid people. But nevertheless, people. People who have worked their way to those positions.

The type of action they're taking is counterproductive. It's not creating jobs (hah, probably losing some at that), it's not going to force any sweeping fiscal overhaul, it's not going to get anybody to admit they're sorry for being corrupt and hire 130,000 new workers.

In a relation to eCommerce, it's called "sitting on demand" - by the reasoning that one side, ex. small company (in this case, the occupy group) attempts to intercede in the others, ex. bigger company (in this case banks, gov., etc.) affairs until middling demands are met. In theory, this should bring the "little guy" (in this case, poor) closer to the "big guy" (the rich).

But that's not what happens. Shitty companies don't drive big companies, and nor do poor bastards drive the economy, it's reverse - those who obtain and invest capital do. Keep in mind capital is more than paper money. Even someone with little monetary wealth can invest capital in another form.

Anyway, what ends up happening is that the "big guy" gets dragged down by those middling demands, and the "little guy", hah, becomes even littler not having the "big guy" to drive him - a downward spiral.

I don't know about you, but I'm proud to be the .0000000001% that doesn't give a rat's ass how much wealth is concentrated into a small percentage of Americans, and I'd much rather continue writing a novel, working with my charity, going to college, working a part time job and a job as a marketer...that'll move me up in the world, rather than wasting my time pissing on cop cars to make a half baked statement.

Nice post, dig your site as well.

yeah, pissing and shitting on things sends a clear message, doesn't it? LOL

The only actual victims of the protests are those who have tried to live their lives and work in the areas near them. (Including children trying to simply go to school and improve themselves)

And not only Did GE not pay taxes on appx $12Bn in profit in 2010, but they also GOT BACK $3.2Bn from the taxpayer

Only in Obama's socialist dreamworld is a small business owner making $200k/yr be a crony capitalist and a scumbag like Jeff Immelt is a close personal confidant.

I have yet to hear a liberal rationalize why a president in bed with GE and Goldman sachs claims to be fighting for the 99%
