    A world without MLM

In contrast with a world without retail stores and real online marketting. Would anyone notice?

If people weren't already in MLMs then it wouldn't be a big deal if they didn't exist. But yeah, if the people in them lost everything all of a sudden then it would be like laying off a huge section of our population. The people who would be hurt the most are those who already have made a lot, so they would get by. They are also the major scammers too, so who cares if they lose their source of income. It will just save others from losing money in the long run.

What about the mom and pop businesses who are maybe earning extra to pay the mortgage and bills, or the one who has just been made redundant and the MLM is paying the bills and so on.......would you feel good about their living being taken away from them?
What about the many thousands of MLM company employees round the world who would suddenly be put on the dole? You need to think a bit deeper before coming up with silly ideas.

Well, it's like saying "What if all the chop shops in america shut down right now? Where would all the people who earn a living stealing cars and cutting them up go to earn a living?"

We shouldn't concern ourselves with what happens to unethical scammers. Maybe they'll get a real job, or go piss up ropes. Who knows. But arguing that point is like saying that criminals should be allowed to do crime simply because that's how they earn a living.

Also, if I hadn't been scammed by my MLM then I'd have a extra money to spend on real products and services, thus stimulating the economy. So while some would be out of jobs, others would be receiving money from me that they otherwise wouldn't have gotten. Either way, the world would be fine without MLM scams.

That is if we never had it.
Now if we did and it was taken away?
    If MLM disappeared today?
Another 1% of our economy gone? It would be like laying off a couple thousand CEOs all at once, another few thousand VPs and execs, tens of thousands of middle level managers, and pulling the rug out from under millions of peoples dreams, along with removing product from millions of people that they want and need.
    nah, wouldn't affect a thing.
Just deepen the recession and put a lot more people looking for a job, a second job and another stream of income.
Thousands of people would have their false hopes dashed. Many people would have to find a different reason to lie to people. Many people would have to find honest employment.

Were the cafeteria cooks who served the Nazi's food considered mass-murderers? No, probably not. Just like the people working behind the scenes to indirectly support scamming are not scammers themselves. But they contribute directly to the scam, whether they know it or not.

That lady in customer service I talked to when I canceled my MLM membership knew damn well what she was doing. I was what, one of hundreds of disgrunteled victims she's talked to on a daily basis about the same thing. You can't tell me she didn't know she was part of an incredibly unscrupulous business.

Don't forget that you're addressing this issue with an anti-mlm-r, Chris. In his black & white world, He feels that the successful people in MLM are perps of a crime, and everyone that does business with him is a 'victim'...ing1:

In what way? Other than not identifying myself to protect myself from scammers.
