    HookUp.com/scam

:zx11pissed:Guys, Dont waste your time on HookUp.com.
I signed up for a free membership to test it out for a week or 2. Started searches and most were dogs or hadn't been online for 3 months.
The next day I had a few women contact me. Each day after, 5 or more. Thought I finally found the best site ever, right? Wrong! Most were attractive and looking for fun (below, I show there usernames and actual emails.)
so, naturally, I replyed and a few days later they replyed. I got so many replys, I joined for a month $29.95. Then I contacted one or two with my concern for the site. Next day one replys; "I've been here a couple of month and its seems safe". Another woman said the same. All replys wanted to continue to "chat" never meet which got we wondering. This is supposed to be a hookup not a chat site. I clicked a small icon on the bottom below the emails (OC) (Actual size) and found a disclaimer, (Below) which basicly says, this woman is fictious to stimulate conversation with members. WHAT? I've been repling to fake women?
Her's the bad part. Every woman who wrote to me was an (OC), in other words EVERY ONE of them were FRAUDS!
So, I wrote the following to one of the scam OC's.

Thanks a lot! This is the worst site i've ever seen. No wonder I couldn't find anyone worth while in searches. Did any woman ever write to me?

    Re: HookUp.com/scam

This site hookupbbw as well as hookup, hookupgay, hookupthis hookupthat ect ect are all total SCAM date sites. They do not have any real woman at all ! They have these (bots) oc,s send men messages, winks, adds to buddies ect to Lour you into joining and paying as a member. The oc,s your talking about are not even fake woman sending replies. The replies are all genorated by bots. There all fake. The websites put this (oc) bulshit in there fine print to likely try to protect themselves from getting arrested for fraud. The scam sites are totally ripping off men and are making tons of money as a 3 tier click/sign ups advertizing scam. Your site has there banner and you earn money for each click and approx $75-$100 per person that joins as a member. $7 per guy that signs up as a free member because they usally get ment to sign up by sucking them in with emails. The profiles of woman are in your local area no matter where you live. If you view a members buddy list the womans profile says they are in your area every time. Suddenly in my area full of skanky pigs thousands of woman show up on hookupbbw wanting to get laid? In fact do you know there is not one single real woman on any of there sites? Nope not one real woman. You can't even sign up to the site if you are a woman! If your a woman trying to sign up it says input a real email addy but with same email and info a guy can join it works then. Now if you are a woman looking for a woman the site let's you sign up. Your email works during sign up suddenly. Then the woman receive all these emails from woman on the site and do not show up in any searches men looking for woman. This company needs to be arrested! I sent there costomer support 5 thretening emails and my free account was deleted. No reply from them. Sorry you got scammed. You should of known better. The sad thing is , a lot of men just don't get it! And pay. They even try try try to get laid but still don't get it. Spread the word everywhere you can. Let's get these bastards shut down and tossed in prison.

Scam, Think Creative & Print, Kelly Goodin

Do not pay them. These guys are scammers. Think Creative & Print is a fake and scam company. I regret having paid them and hiring them for a simple task. They stole my money and did not even deliver the work.

    Re: HookUp.com/scam

Dutch dating means that each person will pay for
themselves when they go out on a date. This method of
dating is often the best when both parties are new to
each other, independent, or just friends.

Many people often like to go Dutch because they are
not comfortable with someone else paying for them.
This is common with women who are liberal or
    independent in their thinking.

It is also common if funds are low for both parties.
Both people will split the costs of dinner and any
other activities chosen to do on the date.

They also might meet at the locations or drive
themselves so the other party isnt responsible for
    their transportation.

Dutch dating can be extremely casual and creates a
comfortable atmosphere many people are happy with when
    a relationship is new.

Some people just arent comfortable with someone else
paying for anything for them until they get to know
them better. In addition, they dont want to feel as
if they owe them for anything later.

Dutch allows the date to go in a successful manner
without the feelings of being owed. In addition,
many women understand the expenses associated with
dating and dont believe it is fair that they guy
should pay for everything, especially if the two go to
an expensive restaurant and do something even more
    expensive later.

Dutch dating is common for people who are not
comfortable with someone else spending money on them.

There are many liberal and independent women who are
very proud who prefer to pay their own way also. This
creates a comfortable atmosphere because no one feels
like they owe them for anything later.

    Re: HookUp.com/scam

Here goes the scenario and how it plays out at work for me. A lonely man/ women (The victim) come to the airport excited that they are going to meet their significant other. The victim walks around the airport and finally finds an agent to talk to after they get slightly worried that their significant other flight got cancelled or missed. When someone comes and asks us to divulge personal information (if the passenger made it on the plane) we aren't allowed to tell the person this information, but when someone looks like they're getting scammed (Its easy to tell... They usually arrive to the airport looking for their boyfriend/girlfriend, but they do not know what city they are originating from nor do they know the persons last name by memory or their phone number (They have to email due to it being an international scam from Ghana or Nigeria)) we quickly look up the information to tell them that said person does not exist in our system or said flight is not possible in my city. They ignore our statement and sit in the airport for a while to walk home with no one and a loss of 1-50,000 thousand dollars.

Humans are naive and in the end we don't believe that another human wants to harm us. We learn from experience and when someone scams us it helps us understand human nature... OR YOU COULD GET SCAMMED ON RUNESCAPE LIKE ME : ( AND LEARN LIFE Lesson

Response from their Customer support: We have over 20 million "real" members on our site.

When you upgraded to a premium membership, the following disclaimer was clearly stated on the upgrade page,

By logging in, I affirm that I am at least 18 years old and I understand that this site is for adult entertainment purposes only, and agree to the terms and conditions, privacy policy and to the use and nature of online cupids.

Online Cupids or OCs are fictitious profiles made by real people intended to stimulate conversation with members in order to encourage a broader participation in all of our Site's services. This includes the posting of additional information and/or pictures to the members profiles. The OC's also serve as a means of monitoring member activities, communications between members, and ensure compliance with our Terms and Conditions. OC profiles are clearly marked with a white Online Cupid badge at the top of the profile page.
    ************************************************** ***********************************
Well they won't disclose how many of those 20M "real" members are paying males (probably very close to 100%) and how many are real females (I'd say close to 0%). Just go on their site as a male (looking for a woman) and click on Who's Online, and almost 100% are Online Cupids - you know the ones that send you bogus Buddy requests daily, the ones that send you bogus flirty messages daily, and the ones that that pop up at the bottom of your active screen wanting to chat! AND yes they are "clearly" designated as Online Cupids, but EVERYTHING YOU GET IS, so you forget that they are totally fake - no site could have that much fake fantasy shit! Well if you are a man looking for a woman this site is totally fake!

Except for a few "blank" female "basic members" that have profile names like "TEXTME_1234567890", and those are just your run of the mill Ghana scammers - hey, but at least they are real people in Ghana trying to scam your money, and not computer generated fake Online Cupids!

By the way, if you are a woman signing on to this site it is a totally different experience as there are NO male Online Cupids (at least that I'm aware of - gotta keep the women happy in this Honey Trap of a supposed dating site), AND when you click on to see Who's Online, it is 100% eligible REAL paying member men!

    Re: HookUp.com/scam

Here is my experience with Hookup.Com,

Contacted by two "women" who saw my profile. I first need a Hookup ID. Always credit cards or prepaid cards declined. Yet often - Yes often - when checking online balance of one vanilla or vanilla gift money IS being taken PENDING. This secret transaction is not told on the declined page. Credit card bill is that I joined 35 sex sites at 39.99 to 60.00. No problem had cards cancelled and transaction payment denied due to fraud. The prepaid cards lost money that cannot be replaced.

Texted one of the girls and was confused by her with someone else. She agreed to sex and wanted my address so she could come over. When discovering it was me she said no hook up until HookUp ID completed. Asked her if she usually agrees to sex BEFORE she even knows who they are? "Yes - if they are on Hookup.Com and ID approved."

Even if you can get a Hookup ID and be guided by an employee through a secret sign up process for men willing to purchase a special "premium" upgrade you will get a pretty girl that is waiting around for someone - ANYONE who is Hookup ID approved to come over to your place for sex. Want a girl who will give you AIDS or an STD. She said she would be available ANYTIME with an appointment. This then is her JOB. Some type of prostitution thing is going on at that site.

Any ideas as to what law enforcement dept. I should report them to? Scorpio1Artist

Are you sure that the "entity" you were talking to was a real person and not a BOT Online Cupid? All these sites have the same purpose, to separate you from your money, how you ask: by enticing you to pay for additional services or even basic ones like being able to communicate with other members - you can see that they are trying to contact you, but you must pay to read their messages or chat with them!
