Macrobiotics: An Almost Forgotten Diet Cures Cancer and Other Chronic Disease

The fact that there are several real accounts of cancer victims healing themselves with the Macrobiotic diet alone is not well known, even among alternative cancer people. A video interview of one such person, Ken Walles, is available on Natural News TV. View it here and see for yourself:

    A Little About Macrobiotics

The Macrobiotic diet was introduced to America in the 1960s by George Ohsawa`s book You Are All Sanpaku, translated to English by William Duffy. Some may know George as Sakurazawa Nyoiti. The term sanpaku means three whites, and it is applied to the white area of one`s eyes showing on three sides of the colored iris. It indicates the sanpaku person has low e.nergy and vitality and his/her nutrition is out of balance.

The balance is associated with the Chinese properties of yin and yang. All foods are categorized as yin, yang, or neutral or balanced. In the 1960s, it was not uncommon to go on an all brown rice diet with the prescribed fermented soy sauce for a week or two in order to break through a spell of very bad health, or just as a cleansing fast.

But there is much more to macrobiotics than just brown rice, although it is a staple. The diet focuses mostly on grains and legumes with some vegetables and sea veggies (seaweeds), very little fruit, and no animal meat, although some macrobiotic dieters allow for a little fish. A diet heavy with grains cuts across the grain of some highly regarded alternative health practitioners and writers who believe grains create inflammation. However, the macrobiotic diet has a long history of health giving success with its focus on whole organic grains.

Some raw food is considered okay, but light cooking, usually steaming or stir frying, is the preferred method of preparing macrobiotic foods. Although there are a few dissidents within macrobiotic circles, the macrobiotic diet mostly shuns supplements.

After its introductory impact in the USA, the health conscious public`s interest in macrobiotics waned. The notion of curing serious disease by diet alone was not understood well then, and as a method of getting healthier and staying healthy, it was considered too strict and severe by most. Their taste buds were not being satisfied and it was too much hassle.

A feature of macrobiotics that should be applied to all eating is chewing longer. It helps digest better and let's you become more aware of when you`ve had enough to eat.

    Macrobiotics Today

Macrobiotics remained over recent decades through the efforts of Michio and Gabriel Kushi`s books and their involvements with establishing training centers for macrobiotic principles, food selection, and cooking. Many of those who have adopted the macrobiotic diet as a life style did so after being stricken with life threatening diseases such as cancer or debilitating chronic issues such as Type 2 diabetes, chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia.

They were magically led to macrobiotics, tried the diet strictly, and recovered quickly and painlessly.

It`s easy to see how those who recovered from those severe situations would continue on the macrobiotic diet as a way of life and encourage others to do so. Some of the cancer recovery testimonies are even more dramatic than the cancer cure story related by Ken Walles in the Natural News TV interview.

You`ll find those testimonials and resources for more detailed information on macrobiotics in the Sources section below.

    healthy diet....

There is a great importance of diet in life because life depends on diet. And it said ** many people if you having a well food diet so your life would be long. If you have a junk food diet in that there is no doubt that the disease will hunter you he diet plan claims that the dieters can lose weight ** having anything as long as they are having it before 9 am. This can even include high-calorie foods such as Pizzas, chocolates etc. A study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of this diet as against a low carbohydrate diet. Two groups of people were made, one was put on a big breakfast diet and other was just put on a low carbohydrate diet. The group on big breakfast diet could have big breakfast with a modest intake of carbohydrates while the other group had low carbohydrate diet throughout the day. On an average, the group on big breakfast diet was consuming around 155 more calories every day as compared to the other group. However, after eight months people on big breakfast diet lost over 21 per cent of their body weight. The group on low carbohydrate diet lost around 4.5 per cent of weight. This relationship between breakfast and weight loss has been quite established. The book here further elaborates on the plan and also gives specifications about the food that should be consumed for the rest of the day.
Our body processes the food differently at different times of the day. Hence, ** changing what you eat at what time you eat you can change its effect on your body in terms of weight gain or loss. Big breakfast will enhance metabolism in the body and also reduce risk of diabetes and heart diseases. The standard meal plan in this program starts with a big breakfast, giving the body about 600 calories. The breakfast should be high in proteins as well as carbohydrates. The other meals of the day lunch and dinner should be low in carbohydrates and should be in comparison less in calories also. The total calorie intake for the day is advised not to be more than 1200. The diet plan consists of a 28-day meal plan, along with recipes. The Big Breakfast Diet also recommends you to eat something sweet in the breakfast. The serotonin levels in your body are highest in the morning and your cravings are at the lowest. The diet claims that this will reduce your overall craving for unhealthy eating and snacking. Whereas having a low carbohydrate diet will further intensify your cravings. This may lead to snacking and unhealthy eating.:

I am currently using a carb blocker called Meratol as it suits my current diet. Meratol can suppress your appetite, can cut your carb intake by 82%, it can burn up to 12 times more calories, and it can speed up your metabolism. Meratol is made with several natural ingredients, is one of the cheaper diet pills with some packages available at 50% discount if using a certain discount code. Meratol is produced by a well respected lab in Scotland which also manufactures the best selling product Capsiplex.

Re: Macrobiotics: Almost Forgotten Diet Cures Cancer

Macrobiotics is just a big word and it's true that some are great for you. This style of health via consumption started with the Chinese ying and yang thing and nowadays has been developed and is now commercialised and sold as a pescatarian diets /fads. There has been some interesting research into the various biotic load found in this type of diet and it's role in suppressing inflammatory origin diseases of late. Although different regions and foods have differing loads of course.
They however do not and never have cured cancer..that part is hogwash.
There is some strong research into the increased consumption of legumes resulting in lowered incidence of prostate cancer though...but that is not curing cancer!

Some sick scam artists advertise that there already is a cure. I found a scam online that took money from people, claiming to be able to cure cancer and HIV.
There are tons of online scams out there! My job is to try and direct people to the minority of decent websites out there, that will actually help you.

    when is fathers

Truly, this thousand years has seen an astounding progress in our Fathers, drove by super Big name Fathers like Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Will Smith, and Johnny Depp who have been seen cheerfully grasping the full duty of a 100% infant toting Father. For these men, dealing with child is a basic piece of their lives: diaper packs and customized infant gems go as one.
