    Is MyView.com a scam?

I have been diligently researching legitimate work from home jobs and I want to be extra cautious about scams. I received an email about getting paid to take surveys thru MyView.com. I wanted to know if this is even a legitimate site and is it even worth the time and effort to do surveys? I've never done any type of internet work before.

doesn't look like a paid job to me. looks more like an opt-in list? like, do you prefer red or blue bath towels? by completing the survey, you can get a coupon to get $2 off your next purchase of bath towels?

if you decide to try it, get another free email address - don't use the one you use for friends and family.

personally, i don't answer questions about me, like where do i live or how much do i make, so i can't participate in the marketing schemes.

Thank you for that rapid response. Would you recommend any kind of survey taking as a source of income or is it just a waste of time in your opinion?

i don't do anything like that, because, as i said, i don't register.

once you register at any maketing company like that, you could be on a worldwide sucker list, deluged with offers to save/make you money. if i want to buy something i just drive over to walmart. nobody can sell me anything and i don't want to waste my time listening to it.

Myview is one of the legitimate survey/research sites. They don't ask you to complete offers or trials.

It is however not a JOB.. None of the real survey sites are a job. If you are signed up with the majority of them you can make a few extra hundred dollars a month but you will never make a full time living.

They are something to do to make extra money instead of playing solitaire for instance ;)

    I agree.

Myview is a site running borderline to a site whoses rewards are not worth my membership. Each survey pays MVP points exchanging for roughly 1000 points = $0.70 cents.

MyView changes is payment system and now require for you to get paid via a Visa gift card, It used to be we got Paid via PayPal.

Their points system is awful. I don't recommend this site except to die hard survey fans.

MyView is definately a SCAM. At first they entice you with lots of surveys most of which are around 500 to 1000 points. At this rate it'll take a couple of months of filling out surveys each day to qualify for a $25 visa voucher. Then they send you a survey that takes about 45 minuts to complete and they tell you it's worth 7500 points. The only problem is after 45 minutes on the very last question you get an error, and they refuse to give you the points because you didn't finish the survey....Very convenient on their part. If you're stupid enough to keep on taking the surveys (like me) and you finaley reach the 35000 points to get the $25 visa voucher, they tell you that the card has been sent to your e-mail. When you contact them to tell them that you never received the card they tell you to check your spam/junk folder. When you contact them a third time they tell you that they just resent the voucher, but guess what.....it never shows up.......Funny how their responses show up in my correct e-mail, but the voucher doesn't. I currently have a complaint filed against them with the BBB. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CHEATS.
