Trying to check on job scam

Is anyone familiar with "Altig International?" They are offering a job to my daughter but we cannot figure out what the job is! They found her resume on Monster.com but she has no skills and has not held down a job before. Has anyone heard of them or had experience with them?

Thank you for your quick response.

Yes, that much we have found. Our concern is don't you have to have a license to sell insurance? Why would they hire an unskilled, unlicensed person?

Re: Trying to check on job scam

There is this thread here about altig:

You could also check out the insurance scam forum here, there are several companies that are run similarly to altig.

In short, they hire anyone and everyone as independent contractors. As an independent contractor, you daughter is responsible for paying for training, gas for her car to drive to potential client's homes, health insurance, taxes, fica, etc. Working on weekends in the office cold calling potential customers is expected. Sales leads will have to be purchased from the office manager who has probably been in business for less than a year.

I believe the office manager/owner is the one who is suppose to have the license. They hire unskilled persons, especially those right out of high school and college as those are the ones that can can be most easily convinced that they can make tons of money by working 'for themselves and setting their own hours'.

As long as that insurance company does not ask for your daughter's personal information and money in advance, then you have nothing to worry about.

But it's very important to research about a company and seek information from other people just like your doing in here already.

Don't worry about the job. It's not worth it! Try to relax. There are a lot of ways to do it. I think that cbd is one of the most useful products in the modern market. This helps me to overcome stress. Click the next website page to know more
