Sounds like they want you to write those annoying pop up ads promoting e-books on clickbank or spam forums with links to crappy websites. You only get paid if someone clicks on your ad, buys the item and doesn't do a chargeback.

Paying for google adwords could also be involved and can quickly cost thousands of dollars without you making any money at all.

The links you posted are just popular article directories. There's nothing really scammy about them. They're free to join and post things.

Is there more to this ad than that? Is someone trying to pay you for using those sites?

    Re: Freelance Writing??

    Hi,

I am enrolled in textbroker. They have a good rating and credit promptly. You need to have a PayPal account to get paid but they do pay. You must have at least $10.00 before they pay.

Further, their payout is based upon their rating of your skills. They will upgrade their ratings as your provide them with more copy. Unfortunately, most of what they have appears to be ad writing. So, I do not do much writing for them.

However, they do provide opportunities to write other than ad copy. I have provided them with some articles that are very technical and one "I remember this" type of article.

They do pay but that can take time.

    Good Luck

Where are e-lance writers rated as a business? Also, do you know how much, how reliably, and how often they pay?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks

Is "e-lance writers" a business or an online chat group or blog?

    Please reply

    Thanks,

AC is a writing site where you can get paid a small upfront fee for all approved articles and will also get paid for ongoing page views. GA & EA are article directories, you don't get paid but you can use them to promote your own websites. TB pay writers to write articles for customers. Payment depends on your rating and you must be approved and hire ahead of time.

None of these are scams. AC pays for submitted articles (if approved) and TB pays writers to write articles for their customers. GA and EA are just article directories, there are no payments but you can write articles there to promote your own websites.

If you are looking to get paid for freelance writing, you could also try constant content and odesk.

Demand Studios is also a good freelance writing site. They are affiliated with ehow. You have to apply, just like applying for any other job, but they do pay, twice weekly.
