WHy don't you be a little more specific. Your post has the distinct vagueness of a scam. And why cant I find any information on "Al Sira" on the Internet?

"Al Sira" is a scam-fighting organization that I envision and has not yet come to existence. I've had in mind the structure, dynamics of "Al Sira".
Now I am seeking volunteers (who share the same ideals with me) to realize it. I pm you a link.

I second that statement. Or, perhaps a cult.

Either way... give me a gun... tell me who to shoot... and I will join up.

if the name makes you think it's a terrorist organization, then I must say I am quite successful at choosing its name.

'Al Sira' is the arabic name for 'Sirius'
    There are two hidden meanings.

One of the principles of Al Sira is to
'Turn fear against those who prey on the fearful'

I made the name close to the name of the notorious terrorist network 'Al Qaeda' to radiate this effect.

The second meaning would be, 'Sirius' being the brightest star in the night sky gives light in darkness.

Wow... that's deep. You really put a lot of thought into this one. I would have picked KASA (Kick All Scammer's AZZes). But, yours is good too. :)

<why all the colors?> Spices things up... and it keeps me re-reading my post, before I actually submit them(in addition to "preview post").

The concept sounds very interesting, but I have to be honest - the name makes me very uncomfortable. If you'd just gone with "Sirius" that would have been great (and would have made more sense IMO).

Your motives may be noble, but the name isn't I'm afraid, especially since you seem pleased that it conjures up the image of a terrorist group.

:D You have a good point here.
"Sirius" will be the name used among friends.
"Al Sira" will be the name used during communications with scammers.
    How's that?

Kpix, Whats wrong with Al Sira? After all the arabs were and still are very good at sience and logic... few crazies gave it a bad name. Feeling weird about Al Sira, because it sounds too close to Al Qaida? You need to read a little more about the arab world and don't let one terrorist group ruin all arab names starting with Al.
I want to join too but guess what. With a name like that the average person will misunderstand us. Look at how kpix reacted! If you change the name I will join too.

like I said, "Sirius" will be the official name now. "Al Sira" is the name we use when we talk to scammer.

sent several private messages. If you are willing to help, reply me. If there is no reply, I assume you are not interested. (Do let me know the reason if possible, whether it's the name that scares you? :D or the amount of time it takes, etc).
