    Did you know that the final part of the soundtrack in this scene is from another movie?

    Didn't see this thread... I guess a kitten is about to die.

    Highlander 2 destroyed the story. The first film specifically stated "There can be only one.". No further discussion allowed. Only one. "The Quickening" was a mysterious force. Unexplained in the first film, but hinted at being some force of nature. Not something that can be 'fooled' into believing there is only one and granting 'The Prize' in error. The "Prize" being unity with all living things.
    Oops, Looks like the mysterious force of nature goofed! McLeod has to do it all over again... and again. The "Prize" was only temporary I guess.

    Movies like Highlander 2 were great at the time, but when you watch them now they simply don't hold up.

    Both versions of this atrocity should never have been made. Even among other movies in the franchise that were not all that great this one rises to the top of the dung heap.
