FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Monday, May 12, 2008

Department's Cease and Desist Order Issued to Katherine Le Becomes Final
Atlanta, Georgia ~ On May 6, 2008, the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance’s (“Department’s”) Order to Cease and Desist issued to Katherine Le, president of NLC of Georgia, Inc., located in Houston, Texas, became final.

The Order to Cease and Desist provided that Katherine Le employed a felon; transacted business with and controlled a person who is unlicensed and unregistered, not exempt from licensing and registrations requirements and who is not an employee of a mortgage broker or lender; and failed to properly maintain a mortgage loan transaction journal.

Pursuant to state law that was in effect when the violations underlying the Order to Cease and Desist were committed, the Department may revoke the license of a mortgage broker or lender that employs an individual against whom a final Order to Cease and Desist has been issued within the preceding five years if the Order resulted from conducting mortgage business with an unlicensed person.

    Re: National Lending Corporation

I joined NLC with promises of unlimited lenders, help, anything that I needed. After they recieved my money I could not get anyone to recurn my phone calls. Turned in a loan and lost it due to mis management. Not a good company in my opinion. When you call the home office and no one can answer your questions. Stay away.

If you're in California, you can go to the Department of Corporations website to check out their California Lender's License which is more credible than the BBB. In California they're required to carry a Surety Bond which I know they have because they had to become approved with our company before doing loans with us.

National Lending is approved to do loans in many other states and you can visit their website to checkout their state approvals.

    Re: National Lending Corporation

I signed up for NLC and it was an expensive lesson. I could get hold of everyone before I sgned up, I was promised assistance with lenders, help with processing, my own branch, etc. After they recived my money I could not get hold of anyone. Message I left were not answered. questions ask we not answered they would check on them. My website was not ever set up. The IT people would not return phone calls. I feel in Texas it is a scam and I would not get involved with it.
