Craiglist spam

Hey, fellow. need help here, because i think i already got scammed, and the thing is i dont know what is my next step. I'm selling drum and i got this email:

Hello,
My name is William Wilson,I am interested in buying your item and the payment will be remmited via a US cashier check or US money order and i will like to know if the price you listed for the item firm?? In order to conclude the deal as soon as possible, the cashier check that will be issue to you will include the money for the sales of your item and the shippers fees for organising a home pick up service. You do not need to worry about shipping the items as we have our own shipping company will come to pick the item up from your base for shipment. What I want to clarify is that will you be able to send the shipping charges to the shipping agent through Western Union Money Transfer method as soon as you get and cash the check or money orders and you deduct the money for the sales of your item?? If you agree to assist in this capacity , send your your below information, so that your check will be issue ASAP.

FIRST & LAST NAME:
ADDRESS:
CITY:
STATE:
ZIP CODE:
COUNTRY:
PHONE:
I WAIT TO READ FROM YOUR RESPOND ASAP:
William Wilson.

Now, the problem is i already sent my information and i already got the Check Cashier. However, i haven't cashed it. the scammer said he is going to pick the item on the 8th of this month. then i send an email saying that I'm canceling the transaction and wanting to send the cashier checks back to him, so i ask for his address. Do you think its a good idea?
is there any furthur step i should do?

cheers

The check is likely to be fake.
