Vortex Marketing Group

Has anyone had dealings with this business? They have websites by the names of cashflowpc and chachingchat. I signed for a free "voucher request" because they were a new company launching and people who were already onboard were given so many vouchers to recruit others for free with. I did research them some as far as what they are selling as an mlm-which seems to be high demand electronics. I would like some input, before I waste my time to find out what all the fine print might be. I have not given any sensitive personal info to them yet. Thanks for any help!

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

Hi, I'm actually a Diamond Affiliate with VMG. Let me tell you, you're definitely making a smart move. I joined this nearly 3-4 months ago and I am SO glad I did. I first joined as a Silver Member for free via the Voucher Code. I was one of the first 500 to join so I'm part of the V-1000 Master Mind Team. We were upgraded to Diamond Affiliate at no cost.

My team will benefit from me because I'm getting all the tools I need. In fact, everyone gets their own .COM site. I'm not talking about a affiliate page, I mean an actual .COM to yourself.

The products and services we will be selling are things like, VoIP, Broadband and Dial Up internet service, Mobile Phone Service, Long distance telephone service, Computer Systems pre-built with business opps., Satelite TV, Video Conferencing Software, E-mail system, and more. Those are examples of products/services. They are in the process of adding more.

There are two comission structures; V-Line and Team. V-line is one giant line of everyone so the earlier you get in, the more people are below you, and Team is % of comission from Team Member sales. For Silver Members, I beleive it's 50% personal sales, 15% 1st level, and 10% 2nd level.

The business isn't "live" yet either, still in Pre-Launch. If/when you sign up, you are given 4 voucher codes which enable you to enroll other people. Though many people don't understand, but the codes are reusable. So, you can enroll more than 4 people with those codes. I got 35 people from one of my old business venture downlines. That business was a failure. 35 of the 38 trusted me and joined in VMG. All of them are happy now.

As a Silver member you'll get 50 leads per month too. We all know how important leads are. No experience is needed either. You have nothing to lose by joining. The only money i have spent was to join the Beta 2 testers, but it was optional for the few 200 people it was offered to.

If you want in, I can get you in on my team for free right now. Reply or e-mail me at ocloren@yahoo.com with Vortex in the subject line so I don't delete it. I get too much spam!

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

And just so you know, we're having yearly conventions. We're getting our Diamond Packs now which have pins, a CD, Vouchers, and some other stuff. Pretty crazy since I didn't pay for any of it.

Vortex Marketing Group is a legitimate business. I've been a member since late-May, andit gets my seal of approval.

As ocloren has said, it's still in the pre-launch phase. More and more people are joining every single day. Unlike most CEO's, he actually communicates with you PERSONALLY. One-on-one conversation. Everything ocloren says in his posting is 100% true.

a year later and Vortex Marketing Group is still in "Pre-Launch"

is that just a gimmick or something more insidious?

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

Hello Speedycango2.
I have a lot of personal knowledge of Vortex since I have been a member since 2004. I just bowed out of the program yesterday. Up until then I was in the V-1000 which means that I was in the first 1,000 people out of around 100,000 or more that joined Vortex. I had paid to be in the VMS Beta 2 group AND I also paid for Premium Leads from them. I have never made any money with them but have spent close to $1000.00.
I wish I could really go into more detail but I cannot say a whole lot without risking legal reprisal. But I will say this, be careful and make sure of what you are spending your money on.
My PERSONAL opinion is that although your initial entrance via the voucher is Free you will not be able to make much money without spending money.
Things are not always as they seem so be sure you understand completely exactly what you are spending money on and how you will make money with it.
Lastly, if you decide to join then I would suggest that you keep all of the emails you receive from them as well as important information that you may read in the daily news. I did. You may need it at some point as evidence of what you were promised.
Just to be fair I will say that it is always possible that you will make money with Vortex. But just like any other venture DO NOT spend any money that you can't afford to lose.
I'm sorry for being so vague about it.
Good luck with all your ventures whatever they may be.

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

I've been a part of Vortex Marketing Group since 2005. I have made NO money from it despite being a part of the VMS Beta system. It's not worth it. I stopped paying for VMS Beta back in January. Couldn't afford it:eek:! I've found something MUCH better than Vortex Marketing Group...something that is LEGIT and REAL :D .

reading your comments and others on other sites, I decided not to.

The bull crap programs and garbage polluting the internet by self-serving pigs is enough to make one quit it altogether and find a greeter job at WalMart.

Again thanks for the warning.

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

If there is anyone out there with a positive experience with this I'd like to hear from them. I joined in early 2005, got into Beta 2 and paid $1000 for the President's 100 Guaranteed Package, or something like that. That was to guarantee that if you didn't have 100 members by the end of one year they would market for you until you got 100.

For me that turned out to be a load of crap. I have 30 something members, none of whom are active, have not made a dime, and they are doing nothing about their guarantee. Most of the correspondence I get from them invites me to do something else which will cost more money. My sponsor is doing nothing, and in spite of several requests, I cannot find out who his sponsor is to get some help and advice.

On the chance that I'm not going about this the right way, I'd like to hear from someone who IS making this work.

I joined VMG in 2005 also...yet I have not made one penny. I'm beginning to think it's a scam. Why do they keep on extending the voucher program AFTER it was said that it would end?

I know the feeling. Now, over the holidays, I've gotten several e-mails from the CEO, and have joined some kind of elite group of 500. What it's supposed to do for me is yet to be explained. As long as it costs nothing I'll keep going with them. If I see any positive results with it I'll post them here. Would appreciate it if others did so also.

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

The Vortex Marketing Group vouchers will be extended indefinitely no doubt. You can expect that when they give the voucher "ending dates" that those are just to promote urgency and bring people into the Vortex group. The vouchers are a "come on" that gets you excited and makes you "feel" a part of the group for 2 main reasons.
The first reason is so that you will help the leadership bring even more members into the group (just like you) who will also promote and so on and so on and so on.
The second main reason is so that they can "relieve" you of your money by offering you "wonderful opportunities" that are suppose to give you an inside track so that you can make money. For instance, the elite 500 group that is being referred to is one of these "opportunities". When they find out who bites on the offer they will then come back and tell you that you are one of the chosen ones. It will also be at this time that they will tell you how much it will cost you to become one of these insiders. This is the pattern. They will "bait" you first then they will ask for your money. I have even tried to quit the Vortex Marketing Group. I sent a personal email to Joel, Brad, Kathryn and Xavier (these were 4 separate emails; 1 to each of their own email addresses) telling them that I was quiting. I even tried using the unsubscribe link (the one that tells you that clicking the unsubscribe link is a permanent action and cannot be reversed) the only problem is that the emails continue to come. Actually it doesn't bother me anymore because each email just confirms the lies and deception. They will for sure keep feeding you lies. What you need is to not let them relieve you of your money.
Good luck.

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

More news from Vortex today. I now have 3 days to join the new Vortex Travel plan. And the CEO feels so bad that he screwed up in selecting the first travel program, VIP Travel which flopped, that he's waiving the $299 entry fee. Of course it will cost $19.99/month and you have to buy a $29 plastic travel agent card. Following the pattern laid out in the previous post to a tee, it seems.

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

I've been with the Vortex Group for close to eight months now, and I too have been selected for the Elite 500 group. I have yet to spend any money, have made a couple bucks in affiliate commissions. Nothing to speak of realy. In comparison to my efforts in promoting the products however, I can't complain. On the plus side though, my list is out of control. You want to talk about viral list building...... Nothing quite touches this one. I'm sorry to hear about those that have had a negative experience. As for me I like just where I'm at with Vortex a free upgraded member!!!

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

Well I'm now in the elite 100 group or something like that, and so far it didn't cost any more money. A surprise! Have no idea what that entails. Still haven't made a cent.

Well the other shoe has finally dropped. The "Elite 100" are being offered all kinds of special deals to get in on 'the next big thing' for a mere $1200. A real bargain, lol.

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

I have not heard much about this business, but after researching many home based business opportunities, I have found one that stands out from all the rest. They have an amazing product that everyone can benefit from, with no storage or shipping of any kind. They offer online education products that are not available any where else. Their compensation plan is great, $1,000 per transaction, and you don't have an up line that you have to share with! This company has a simple, easy to use process with great support and training available. With this opportunity, I was able to continue being an at home mom, and provide a great income for my family. If you interested in learning more about this opportunity, visit my website at

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

Well, first off, I have to say that my overall impression of this forum in general is - the majority of those "Scam.com" tends to attract are people looking for an excuse to not actually DO something to better their lives through entrepreneurship.

Think about it. If you actually want to find out what's what about a company, instead of wasting your time on a completely unreliable resource [a forum like this], you need to perform a genuine "due diligence" investigation.
1. You would first check with the State Attorney Generals office [or website], then -
2. Check online any 'hard news' reports about the company in question.
3. The Better Business Bureau in the corporate domiciliary city will have record of any current unresolved complaints.
4. Another great resource is Dun and Bradstreet.
5. It's also very easy, with many free and paid resources to choose from, to look into the personal and business backgrounds of corporate officers.
My point is, an online forum [ESPECIALLY one that ostensibly exists for the sole purpose of "busting scams"] would be (at best) a very thin, very broad, sketchy indicator of what some (virtually anonymous, mind you) individuals think and feel about their "experiences" with the program of interest.

Now, from the perspective of a fairly analytical [though not jaded or cynical] person - I can give you nothing more than my knowledge and understanding as well as any experience I may have in dealing with Vortex Marketing Group.

What's that worth to you? If you're looking for the truth - my pontifications are worth NOTHING! My opinions and my personal, emotional [and possibly un -or inaccurately- informed] "experience" will be of absolutely ZERO worth.

On the other hand, if you're looking for an excuse NOT to really do the work to discover the actual FACTS, then my opinion can be used to justify to yourself your own weak resolve. The psychological ramifications are beyond the scope of this forum.

I am (like others who have posted here) a "Diamond Executive" affiliate. My impression is that this is a corporate start-up in the formative stages of development. A business viability plan generally takes at LEAST five years to execute. Vortex has been in business for - what - four years now? So, they're just about at the make/break point for any new business.

I haven't made any money with Vortex for the simple reason that NOBODY else has. And why is that? Because, they have not released any products or services for us to market.

One individual above "gets it". This is [right now] a BONANZA for building a mailing list, and establishing a mentoring relationship with your list members. Anybody who knows anything at all about Internet Marketing understands that a company can [and might] say anything. It's up to you to find out for yourself if they are likely to be able to backup what they say.

Will Vortex Marketing Group meet its stated objectives? No one knows at this point. But, those that 'wait and see' won't have any advantage over those of us who are using this for what it delivers right NOW, and that's a tremendous vehicle to build a strong list of people who are looking for a better life through online entrepreneurship.

I hope this helps. And I hope my writing doesn't come off as condescending or sarcastic. I ended up here today because I was doing some "due diligence" of my own, and just happened to follow a link that brought me here.

I wish success to all!
DD

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

If you are really looking for a legitimate business, I’m involved with a business that provides an opportunity for ANYONE to earn a six figure income in a short period of time. It provides ALL the Tools, Training and Support you will EVER need in a business. This is NOT an MLM. There is No Stocking, No Shipping Products, No Selling, No Explaining and No harassing family and friends. You have the potential of making HUGE commissions in this business. How about earning an extra $1000 - $4500 per transaction and about $8,000 to $10,000 per week PT just using a PC, Internet and Phone? With a small startup cost of about $1800 - $2000 will start you on your way to financial freedom. If you want to take ACTION now to improve your life, visit for more details.

I'm sorry, on exactly what planet is that considered a "small" startup cost? Small to me is about $50 or less.

I have to say, when I read the posts of one member vouching for the other member, I almost wet myself. "I agree with so-and-so, and I do not even know them.." what a crock of crap that is. Sounds like a true scam to me, stay away folks.... It does not take years to launch a legitimate company...

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

hi.

The Solar ****** System does affect markets. The Sun gives off radiation which varies by about 2 percent. These variations are caused by tidal forces that the r*****ing planets exert on the gases in the Sun. These tides cause vortexes in the Sun€ ’²s surface leading to solar flares, coronal holes, and magnetic storms. The ****** changes from these are carried to Earth on an ionized stream of particles called the Solar Wind. When the Solar Wind reaches Earth it is deflected around the Earth by the Earth€ ’²s magnetic field. This creates a magnetosphere around the Earth. At the poles ionized particles can penetrate the Earth€ ’²s atmosphere. Changes in the solar radiation cause changes in the voltage in the ionosphere. This in turn causes changes in the electrical currents flowing through people standing on the Earth. These emotional swings account for about 40 percent of price motion." I have just got an e-mail from this company and have been looking into what they do. If you are considering joining them I would recommend a much better company for the UK market with similar products. It has a proven track record of 12 years, is the UK Financial Times Company of the year, best performing share on the UK stock market in 2008 (68% share value increase!) was voted fastest growing European Business and is cash rich debt free. It has been making payouts to it's people and has won awards for Customer Services and for Best Value for money in the UK (See the UK's most respected Independent Consumer Magazine). Why look for a dodgy company to join when you can join one with a solid reputation, proven track record and which pays out every month? Last year the customer numbers were increasing by 5,000 per month, now it's over 13,000 per month! The recession is working in our favour. ian@downie.com if you want to know more...Imagine being able to save the average UK home over £800 per year on services that everyone has little choice but to be buying already? And think what a business opportunity that would give you! Most people when they look at this get really excited and want to join...

Re: Vortex Marketing Group

Wow! I'm so glad I came in here. I have been receiving emails for the past 6 months from Vortex, Brad and Joel, supposedly they have been busy preparing this company and I am in the first 100 and will be a Founding Member. All emails have been saying that it is free until today, launch day. All emails have been preparing for launch, supposedly today Dec.1, 2009. All of a sudden I have to pay $99 and $39 per month and will be a Founding Member. Supposedly they have had only 200 beta testers until today, launch day. As I can see in here, they have been pulling this same launch scam for a few years now. Come in sucker. Thought it was too good to be true.
