Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
I have been stupid enough to send for the literature - at a cost of £30, for which Online reckon I can be refunded £21 if I do not go ahead. The literature says NOTHING - its all just a brain-washing exercise which then suggests the reader calls a number in America .... I live in Scotland and first saw this through another on-line employment agency "workthing.com". From the small amount of drivvle that I have received I had become convinced it was some form of pyramid selling around life-extending remedies, which is why I came to Scam.com to try and fathom it out.
THANKYOU every-body for saving my meagre bank-balance and my comiserations for those who have already lost money to this evil crowd!

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
Yes, I ordered their first kit, and it was HerbalLife. I asked for my money back, and
it was sent pronto. They don't tell you up front who they are until you get their
package. I was with Herbal Life years ago with their marketing system called "Newest
Way to Wealth". What a disaster. It is more like "Newest Way to Broke". Maybe, the
Online System is better, I don't know. I know Herbal Life is a good company, but one
has to be careful of the marketing stratagies, so check it out!

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
It's a total scam! I thought I was being charged $9.95 for information, ended being charged for $41 for a slick info. package. She then called me and wanted me to send an addtional $385 for a startup kit to sell Herbal Life on line. When I wanted my money back and tried to return the folder she emailed and basically told me to go to hell. Beware! It's a SCAM! pure and simple.

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
No, they are not a scam!! It is a true work from home business. You own your own business from home... Its too hard these days to figure out what is real and what is not! Trust me i know! I know a lot of people who make amazing money at the online system/ Herbalife! Its a great marketing system, and Herbalife has amazing products. What else can you ask for? Check it out! Seriously. 6 figures in LESS than 18 months. It is definatly not get rich quick.

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
Run as fast as you can,I fell for it and am out over $1000.00. You only make money by suckering other people out of their money. The herbalife vitamins made me sick and are too expensive to sell. It took me months to get everyone to stop charging my credit card, it was maxed out at 1500 and they kept charging to it! My advise, if they want money up front or your card # walk away. I use a ficticious name & email now to check them out.

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
THIS stupid website is a scam!!! Every time i write a freakin post for 10 minutes and hit Submit it says the page can not be displayed!!!!!!!! ;(
(And yes, i have Road Runner and the fastest internet connection, a GOOD laptop, and computer savy, so it's not me :)
No, i'm just kidding..... But, i don't feel like typing what i just typed about The Online System again, so in short, i signed up for the $385 package and will get it this week...
My lady is Tammi from Canada and she is SUPER sweet.... i don't know if it is a "scam" or not, but i will let you know!!! She PROMISED me that i would not have to pay ANYTHING else other than that $385.....
Of course i would WANT to get a toll free number (duh, so i can talk to people long distance) and of course i would want to get a merchant account (duh, so i can accept credit cards) ...... To some people those might be "hidden" fees, but to me, those are "expected" fees, because i think in order to make a successful business you have to invest at least SOMETHING into it......
IF any other fees do come up, i will list them and let everyone know exactly what is going on..... The trouble i have found too is that alot of the posts for "scams" are at least 2 or 3 years old..... Is it possible that things have changed??? i HOPE so....

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
IT IS NOT A SCAM!
I started with work-from-home business about 3 weeks ago and made $2,400 working part time. It is a real BUSINESS (not a HOBBY), so think about how much money it would cost to create your own websites, or if you bought into a FRANCHISE. This is not a get rich quick scam...you do have to work, but get to pick your hours.
Advertising is involved, but many inexpensive options (including free advertising) are offered, and they show you step by step...you have your own coach! (perhaps some people got a bad coach, but mine has been a real winner and taught me everything she knows). My coach has been in the Herbalife business for about 5 years, and makes over $10,000 a month. You can do different things in this business, retail as well as coaching (< big bucks, teaching other people how to make money).
Think about where you will be in 5 years! Think about what you would have to do in order to get a $100,000 a yr. job (4-6 yrs college maybe 20+ work experience)...so the little investment for the opportunity to make as much money as you want, for a REAL BUSINESS is nothing.....
Of course scared, negative, lazy people will not make it...you have to work, and be a positive person!!!!
Just telling the TRUTH!

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
My biggest concern for "job offers" of this nature is: FIRST, they put an ad on a LEGIT website such as Careerbuilder.com. If it's so damn good, why can't they just tell you the name of the company they represent? Why can't they tell you is is network marketing or MLM or whatever. Then they deceive you by deceiving you into paying 40 BUCKS just to find out what the company name is and what they are selling. Is that being forthright and honest?

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
I am pretty sure this is Herbalife. Go to Herbalife.com if you want to learn more. They sell weight loss products and vitamins and things like that. It is a pretty complicated system to learn.

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
Sounds like Herbalife is following the lead of another large MLM company in charging for Info Packs. Think about this a minute. Charging for INFORMATION about even WHO the company is and then WHAT the plan of action is?!! It simply picks up the "wishful thinker" types who are HOPING for the best and usually takes them on another hunting expedition after the "KIT" arrives, asking for more money ! Would ANYONE go to a local job interview and expect anything more than to fill out some application forms and have a job interview? What if the receptionist asked you for $50 in order to fillout the app and then they'd call you about an interview later? Would that raise any red flags?Of Course It Would ! My advise! NEVER PAY FOR INFORMATION PACKS ! IT's a TYPICAL RUSE FOR A BIG SCAM ! In addition and in regards to Herbalife, I personally KNOW someone who was in Herbalife, was VERY ORGANIZED and DETERMINED and had LOTS of FINANCING and it cost them about $3500per month JUST to operate their business and stay in business, which WAS NOT covered by their checks back from Herbalife. So they were operating in the RED and spending LOTS of TIME doing it too. NICE FREE MONEY for Herbalife. Sounds SCAMMY to me !

This is a scam, I paid $30 for them to send me the DVD, booklet, and the CD. Of course I was so excited when I heard of all of the money. I called my person Wesley to find out what i needed to do next. That's when he told me about having to pay 300.00. I immediately stopped him and asked what else would I have to pay. He then said I would have to pay another 400.00 for something. Then after that each month I would have to pay 35.00 for some kind of maintainance fee and then another 70.00 for something else. I thanked him for his time and said no thanks! I actually still have the e-mail that my coach sent me with all of the fees. if you want it let me know.

Re: The Online System, ever heard of them?
UrSuccessCoach is back! First of all I want to say "I'm sorry and I was so wrong!" Yes, I did well at the beginning, and I did really believe in the ONLINE System / Herbalife, used and loved their products. However I was so totally brain washed by my coach and BELIEVED everything she told me....all the lies. She was very convincing and if you are a good liar then this is a great business for you. I could no longer tell people it was a good deal when I stopped believing in it myself. I live with Integrity and always want to be honest with people, but this business went against all my values and after I got smart I felt aweful convincing others to join. I'm so sorry!
I had to buy advertising wheels for $500 a pop and I usually got 3 so $1,500 a month and also $100 in additional (long shot) names as well as other advertising so about $1700 a month and then bought $1000 worth of products a month (sometimes I got lucky and people bought some of that).
The rest is shipping products and other business expenses including manuals fees for 2 websites they make you use as well as 800 number you have to purchase and a credit card merchant account and a speaker phone and Vonage line so you can call people long distance and listen to the LONG conference calls from CA.
At the beginning my coaches coach sent me good leads and then I got really bad leads...example, kids out of high school who didn't want to work and had no money, and I had to play phone tag with them all day and night. So I wasted a lot of money on advertising and buying leads. Long story short I lost about $35K in 5 months and only made about $3,200 after all the expenses.
I love the products, but they are over priced. You can get them much cheaper on E-bay! Management is a disgrace to the founder. This could have been a very good business, but not the way they tell you to run it. Also you have to call people back in different time zones and I was on the phone every single night until 11:30pm EST, just to catch them after work (those are the leads I got).
I was told that when I left all my leads would be taken care of by my coach and she would become their coach. She did not take care of them, but tried to avoid them.
I recommend NOT joining this business, but I do believe the products are great!
We should have an additional site on here about work from home opportunities that actually work and are legit. If you know of any please write me at: UrSuccessCoach@Yahoo.com and let's make a DIFFERENCE helping others.
For now I think I will start my own business and I suggest to those who do the same to always life with Integrity, so be honest to yourself and others. Remember, what goes around comes around so treat others the way you want to be treated, with respect and love.
God Bless!
Sincerely,
UrSuccessCoach
