What are you going to do...

I am curious, what are people planning to do with their refund check on or about the month of May? (If yer' eligible)

I can't decide...I have narrowed it down to two options; The first option is to put the entire thing directly into the black market...The second choice as I see it, would be to sign the check back over to the government, because, I might not be rich, but I think they could use it more than me...and if everyone else did the same...how could they not get a message from that? (the message being "Up Yours" from We the People)

What are your thoughts...if any...

I like your second thought, but I am a bit greedier.

I would put it right in the bank and use it for college payments.

Re: What are you going to do...

How about an investment? That would piss off the president and congress at the same time. They both want the economy stimulated now. An investment would be a way to not comply and possibly double or triple your refund.

I understand that investments do stimulate the economy, but it takes a lot longer than either side wants.

I don't know if you have ever had the opportunity to see The Beavis and Butthead Show (MTV cartoon)? Because I quote, (the Beavis character Cornholio) "Are you threatening me!?!" I love that line...What I mean to say is..."Are you challenging me?"...
(by challenge I mean giving me a...)

No idea... It wouldn't surprise me if I didn't even get one or if it turned out to be just enough to by a small lunch

Re: What are you going to do...

I already got my check. I paid bills and put the rest in savings. Not exciting, but now I'm ahead on everything.

YWFT, the US government is giving out checks this May to "stimulate" the economy...The idea being that one would get the check, and put it right back into the mix, so to speak...Any citizen that makes more than 3000$ a year will get a check for 300$, the average for the "middle class" will be 600$ for singles, and up to 1200$ for married couples...Plus 300$ for each child for families. If you make above 75,000$ a year, the check goes down for every thousand dollars over that ...if that makes any sense...So, that is what stimulated this thread...

Re: What are you going to do...

Haha I forgot about the extra check. If we get one we'll probably just stick it in savings or a CD.

Re: What are you going to do...

I did... I won't discuss sports in the Political chat thread no matter how difficult it is. AND I know Tom Brady went to Michigan, but I just don't know if I can bring myself to like him.

Ok, nevermind. I can't help it. Football is my true passion. Lol

Except for the fact we are something like 9 trillion (9,000,000,000,000) dollars in debt, its a fine plan.
