Re: MLM--weight loss?

I would say Isagenix... since I know there have been a LOT of people who have lost weight on their product (I know a couple myself).

The only thing is that they deal with colon cleanses... and I asked my doctor about the effectiveness of them (he's a doctor that prefers natural treatment over prescription), and he said they haven't been proven in science.. and could remove a lining in your colon that is meant to be there. He said the best way to cleanse a colon is to just get enough fiber in your diet. I also asked him about the parasites that these colon cleanse companies always talk about, and he said that if you had an infectious parasite, you'd know it... it would make you really sick.

Re: MLM--weight loss?

With colon cleanses you have to be careful. Where some may say that they work, they release toxins, they help you lose weight, etc. they may not have the live cultures to replenish the good bacteria into your colon! If you do a colon cleanse, it is imperitive to have one that has the live cultures. Becuase essentially what you're doing is ridding the body of bacteria. While getting rid of toxic bacteria is a good thing, if you don't have the good bacteria to replace it that are supposed to be in your colon to fight off illnesses, viruses, etc. you're running the risk of making yourself vulnerable to those things.

The best way to lose weight is to learn what YOUR particular body's needs are nutritionally speaking, eating properly, drinking a minimum of 64 oz of water daily and mild to moderate exercise 2-3 days a week.

Re: MLM--weight loss?

but they have a funny way of scaring you into buying these colon cleanses on tv, they have that weird skinny guy who says we carry up to 20-25 lbs of undigested fecal matter in our colons, you know someone late at night is going wow, really??? so they call and get some
the thing i find funny they are not doctors but herbalist or people who run health food stores, i agree alot of natural remedies work but i have heard detoxing can be important but not all the time because i also heard that could remove a lining also

i just ordered almased, it isnt mlm but a friend of mine who lost 200 lbs on it, i am taking it i was at one time 350 lbs but now down to 295 but have stayed stuck and i am starting on that powder tommorow and i ll let you know how i do on it Mike

Honestly a colon cleanese, if you do your research and get the right one, is a good thing to do about every 3-4 months. Because you can actually harbor that amount of fecal matter in your colon thus inhibiting the absorption of important nutrients and lowering your immune system.

However, as I said before, most don't have the necessary live cultures to replace the good bacteria we naturally have in our colons to fight off "bugs".

I also use the products from a certain MLM to enhance and aid in weight issues (loss, gain & maintanance) for my clients that I work with. I am a weight loss & nutrition consultant and a personal trainer. And the products I use are ones that I have found to work on me, my family, friends and thousands of others. I focus mostly upon nutrition. Because once that is "in check" the weight will come off. But the weight is only the visual part of the problem; it's the part that tells the scales there is a problem. The underlying health issues are what are really the most detrimental.

Re: MLM--weight loss?

Isagenix is NOT just a Colon cleanse that is why it works....for more information go to www.isagenix.com that is NOT an affiliate link.

I only had a little weight to lose last summer and I did and have kept it off.

Do your research.

Weight loss not sure but for fat loss and not muscle loss Cinch from Shaklee by far is the best. Every one I have gotten has lost only bf. All other diet programs mlm or not you loose weight but you also loose muscle as well.

I have tried alot of diets and the one that has worked best for me is a program created by HERBALIFE. I've lost thirty pounds and it has been very easy to do. Check it out at this website jwoslimdown.com[/color]. They have many great products.

Re: MLM--weight loss?

Drinkact.com's products promote weightloss.

The ACT energy drink combined with the Body Trim tabs has allowed me to lose 15 pounds over the last few months.

I'm not on a diet. I just drink my drink and pop my tabs and the natural energy that floods my body just keeps me going, and going. The weight loss just kind of happened.

I heard Isagenix mentioned above. My newest team member is an Isagenix rep. She was very discouraged by the high monthly auto-ship and the expensive prices. She was very excited when she saw what Drinkact.com has to offer.

Take a look at a company that is Free to join. The only thing you buy at Drinkact.com is product!

No referral links are in my post. you may find my referral link in my signature.

Wherever you may land, whomever you choose to represent, I wish you great success!

Re: MLM--weight loss?

if you are looking for the best weight loss program

1 look for clinical proof that the product works
2 look for a product that maintains lean muscle (loss of lean muscle is the main cause of yo-yo diets)
3 look at the reputation of the company are they known in the health and wellness field do their products have clinical proof that they work on the long term not a quick frix ie you want a clinical study that actually shows that users of their products have had long term improvement in health 20 years or more (look at the berkley report by Gladys Block)
4 look and see what is in the product this is a big clue on how good the product is

don't take advice from this board or friends do your research and compare companies they are not all equal

big differences between companies

Re: MLM--weight loss?

I would say that no MLM has the best weight loss product. Weight loss depends on more than a so-called ''wonder product''.

Many MLM products can be a help to weight loss though, for example, my company has healthy cookies, that can be used as snacks, enzyme products, essential fatty acids and vitamins/minerals, that can all help with a healthy digestion and diet.

None of these are a ''magic bullet'' though, and how much you eat, what you eat and lifestyle (exercise, etc.) is equally important.

I agree with some of the posts here. If you do your research, you will find that the basis of a weightloss, fitness, or strength program has nutrition as the fundamental building block to start with and build on. Without it, the structure will crumble. To answer your question may be misleading. The mlm has to fit you. As for weightloss, the right program depends on the persons goal. You can find the right product(s) if you know the goals. Look at the big picture and go from there.
