Mentors in Motion vs. Mentors on a Mission
I've read most of the posts on the mentors in Motion, but I haven't seen anything on Mentors on a Mission. The sites are registered by two different people. But they sound like the same 'product'?
Anyone know the difference? Or are these guys twin step-brothers?
Here's what I found at whois.net and whois.godaddy.com

Re: Mentors in Motion vs. Mentors on a Mission
Mentors in Motion is the orginal system and information created by Val Smyth. Val Smyth was rated the within the top 3 marketers in the world and created Mentors in Motion to end the misery of failing in network marketing and help generate huge upfront money by helping
Mentors on a Mission was created by one of Val's students named Al Turnquist. Alan is a great marketer. He broke off from Val and basically copied Val's system and income opportunity to capitilize himself. Val trained Alan Turnquist and he will admit this himself.
The difference is that Alan never produced 562 sales per day in network marketing/direct sales. He never produced those massive sales but Val has.
He has taken what Val has taught him and made it work. This is proof that Mentors in Motion is no competiton system. Mentors on a Mission is great too, but there is only one original system that is still growing strong everyday.
This is the truth.

Re: Mentors in Motion vs. Mentors on a Mission
I have been in network marketing for almost a year now and would like to say BEWARE OF THE HYPE!!!.
I was with Mentors on a Mission and was fairly successful. The only through back is that they do not have a solid lead structure and the price of the product went up to $1500.00. When I signed up I received a getting started manual that was extremely unprofessional and basically lead me to doing cold calls or using affiliate programs, which by the way do not work for generating solid leads. If you want to do reverse marketing on fellow marketers then it is a good way to generate leads. I personally do not want to spend my time dealing with people who are in other businesses, but would rather limit my time to people asking me about my current business & who are truly interested in what I have to offer.
I felt that what they were offering was not even close to being worth the cost so I moved on.
I am now with EPI and have been since January. EPI has a multi million dollar marketing platform and phenomenal support team; you will never do a cold call with this system. The compensation plan is $1000.00 to $4500.00 per sale and well worth the money. EPI has a great product which is not only personal business development but you get financial development that will not only save the average person thousands of dollars but help you be able to utilize your money to build a residual income for your future.
I was able to turn my investment in this company into my full time income within my first 3 weeks. I have tried 3 other programs before joining this company and did not even come close to my current income.
The only warning I have is to do your due diligence and find somebody that is truly interested in your success. No matter what the company may be. I have found that in this industry there are a lot of people making a lot of money who will tell you that you will be able to do the same but in reality those who are signing up 30 to 80 people a month have no time to ensure your success and help you in the long run, once they have your money you are on your own. If you are looking for a business opportunity, EPI has a very professional product and a lucrative compensation plan.
As with any business venture, I strongly suggest you do your research, so you may be able to make an educated decision. This is a business and needs to be approached in a business matter. Before you impulsively jump into a business you need to find out what the person who is signing you up is going to do for you and for the extent of time they will be there for you to ensure your success.

Re: Mentors in Motion vs. Mentors on a Mission
I had a person attempt to recruit me for Mentors on a Mission about 2 months ago. I am heavily involved with Pre-Paid Legal at the time, but I always will take a look at other opportunities out of respect for the person presenting. It only took me 15 minutes of research to realize that a $1500 personal development system was not a consistent product to be marketed. The payout for the sale was very attractive, but common sense will tell you that you have to burn through hundreds of leads to find one person interested in coming off $1500.
I sent an email back to the lady that approched me for Mentors on a Mission and expressed my opinion. I also sent her the info on Pre-Paid Legal to compare. She realized that she a.) was not making a stable income to justify her present business and b.) a $1500 sale for personal development training was an extremely tough sale. The outcome was that she joined my team with PPL and is now making a consistent income and acutally enjoying the process of building a business. She listened to me when I explained that there are many other factors to consider, other than the compensation potential, when choosing a good business opportunity. Companies that solely preach $$$ are typically "hype."
You can certainly make a fantastic short-term income from these opportunities, but you have evaluate whether you are seeking long-term financial freedom or a quick burst of cash. Research the company, the marketplace, the timing, the products and lastly, the comp plan. If all make sense then act upon that opportunity. Every business opportunity is going to offer you the "hype" of BIG money, but only a few of them can actually provide a sustained income.
And, yes, I did plug my business for Pre-Paid Legal. But, I only recruit the willing. Anyone can call me for information, 888-302-2592...but again, I only work with the willing.
Final thought, on Mentors on a Mission or any other company that only sell these personal development programs...Carlton Sheet's "No Money Down" program doesn't even cost as much as these other systems, nor does Robert Kiyosaki's system. These programs are not marketable on a consistent basis, so the other way to make money in these businesses is to recruit...recruit...recruit.

Re: Mentors in Motion vs. Mentors on a Mission
It's best to look into the original system "Mentors in Motion". The truth is that MIM was created to help people who wants to start a home business and to put an end to the failure rate in MLM. The others "Mentors on a Mission" and "The Dream Team" were started by students of Val Smyth to profit off of the original. Come to our live calls today. Emerald Passport.Liberty League and few others like them are nothing more then Aussie 1 or 2 Ups.That is illegal by the way.The way it works is you ahve to give up 1 or 2 sales at a $1,000.00 each, then the next sale is yours. Now how many people do you think you would even be lucky to get to buy your program at $1,000.00 to $12,000.oo to begin with? Then you ahve to give them up the first 2 times. On top of that,is the fact the information/business package they sell you for that price you could get easily for free in many places, plus get better information to boot. The only people who succeed in those type of plans are the pushy scamers.Believe me I know what I'm talking about.I have seen and heard almost all of it before. If you are with a company that sells a legitimate tangible products or services like electronics, wellness, candles,or other things of common need and wants, then it's a legal business.Of course most will have a business opportunity attached to it,but as long as it is product focused, not just recruiting, then it's fine. Now some companies will make their product or service over priced,or have bad pay plans.Just stay away from those companies. You want a company that has BOTH great reasonable priced products AND a great comp plan to truely be able to succeed.Out of over 200 companies, there are only a hand full of good companies that have both.I hope this helps others a little bit.You can always email me if you any questions or need help with anything.

I tried Dream Team,Mentors In Motion, which is where the Dream Team came from originally,Mentors On A Mission,Success Univerity, and several others just to name a few.One thing they all have in common is that they charge you alot of money, and you don't get good results as far as growing your business goes.I joined a team that is actually FREE,and taught me alot then anyone else ever has.The founder of the team believes in serving with a servant's heart, give back to the community that gave him help years ago. This isn't a business opportunity that you sell because, again,it's FREE.This is a team of people who help others succeed in their own businesses. They show you how to build your own team with whatever company you are with, and without buying leads or hitting on friends and family. They show you how to even do advertising for your business either free or for very little money. They also teach you what to look for in a business for those who don't have a business yet. They even help you grow as a person, and many other things. One thing I learned about network marketing is that it's about self growth before you even get into the business aspect. It's just like they say,you must love yourself first before you can love others. It's no different with network marketing. When you grow as a person, your business will automatically grow as well like a domino effect. There are well over 200 companies to choose from to start a business with, but only a handful of good companies. Many have great products, but bad business structure and comp plan. Some even have bad products and bad comp plan,or even a good one.You need both a great product AND great comp plan to truely succeed. Most of all,it's about promoting YOU,not your company. They don't try to get you into a company they may be with because each team member belongs to their own company. They don't make a dime off of you. They have their own business to make money with. This team is about helping people and educating them in many ways.I love helping others so when I found this team,I knew this was for me.There is actually a team like this that does exist. They have actually become my family, not just networking friends. If you want to know more all FREE,then visit my site and download the free E-Book.Email me and let me know what you think.Enjoy.

Re: Mentors in Motion vs. Mentors on a Mission
A DISTRIBUTOR FOR MENTORS ON A MISSION ANSWERS.
I have seldom seen a thread where virtually everyone
involved was blatantly trying to generate leads for their
own opportunity while knocking the program under
consideration.
I have been a rep for Mentors on A Mission for quite a while
and its been very good for me. I take responsibility for my
own success. I don't look for hand-holding, but if I don't
understand something I am not afraid to ask questions.
Its a fine training program in the nuts-and-bolts, down-and-
dirty reality of succeeding in this business. There are no
fairy tales and sugar coating with this program. The
online business world is tough and only those with strong
skills prosper.
The trainers always stress that professionals don't bash
the competition. At the same time, we have a very fine
product and we feel its worth the money and offers
much-needed training in the for of over 20 real-time, live
classes per week in a state-of-the-art internet classroom.
This industry is full of people who are not clear on their
own motives I think. With Mentors on A Mission I have
a community of people who are facing the competitive
realty of success in the home-business world, and doing
it with dignity and forthrightness.

WHO SUCCEEDS WITH MENTORS ON A MISSION?
Concerns over the value of product in this industry are
widespread. I will say this:
We are seeking individuals who see the value in education,
who wish to be paid for their time and experience, and are
of a serious mind to start a business promoting an education
product which, despite its sometimes rough presentation,
is the real thing.
"From the Streets", as they say.

Re: Mentors in Motion vs. Mentors on a Mission
Funny place the internet.
While searching for old articles on Mentors on a Mission I came across this forum tread and it looks like some of the links suggesting something better as far as mentoring courses are no longer live.
It's the same story all over the places, most marketers will get excited about the latest NBT ( Next Best Thing ) of the week and then in a few months they're gone bye bye.
Here are some facts you may want to consider as far as mentors on a mission; back in November 2005 I have purchased the course for $ 1499.99 and even though I made two sales in the first year I didn’t quit, or cry nor did I joined all the new pre launches of the month, instead I kept working on my then stinking attitude and self esteem until I fully believed that I could make money online even if I had an Italian accent in my speech, even if I couldn’t write good English and even if I was just a dumb house painter.
So back in September 2006 after mentors on a mission C.E.O. Al Turnquist launched a new marketing system called Predator later became known as Jaguar Marketing System, finally gave me a chance to start reselling the course without doing all the work. The closing was done by the company team at no cost to me, all I had to do was sending people to watch the site movie and invite them to fill in a request a call back form.
That activity gave me the confidence I needed to overcome my fears, later in 2007 with the help of another masterminded idea from Al Turnquist called “10K per week” concept my business exploded and I became a top earner in an industry where 97% of much smarter people than me fails everyday.
As of January 2009 do to world economy crises Mr. Turnquist has decided not to resell the
Make Money or Make Excuses training course through the high priced Jaguar system, instead he has given all past affiliates a new web site with the same or close to it original audio content that he used back in 2004 when he launched this product.
Mentors on a Mission concept has survived since 2004 by enriching the lives of many marketers who have become leaders in many other companies and most likely will be here providing the same teachings to future internet marketers. A good attitude, a good mindset combined with the best training on free leads generating methods this course provides will always be the best remedy for anyone who’s goals are to become successful online any business.

Re: Mentors in Motion vs. Mentors on a Mission
Now that is some Great news Loren
I've seen your name and your web sites around for awhile
and I also know that you are a good marketer.
It's too bad that you couldn't cope with the changes in our system mainly caused by the bad world economy, then again this may give us an advantage by having less competition in the resell of the training course that has changed for the better the lives of so many internet marketers.
Good luck with all your business endeavors.
