Is PayJunction legit?

I just recieved this in my email this morning and wondering is it legit or a scam. They started out the email with my full name.

I found your resume on HotJobs, and would like to speak to you regarding
our outside sales team. We are currently looking for assistance in the
deployment of our market leading products. The earning potential is
commission based (with lifetime residuals) and can vary from $30,000 to
$150,000+ based on your drive to succeed. This can be done full-time or
part-time in conjunction with another job. We are seeking highly motivated
self-starters that are capable of working independently to market our
business. The perfect candidate will be an individual who not only sets
goals, but also crushes them! This person will have the desire to make
the kind of money they are worth.

Here's a little about PayJunction Inc:

PayJunction has created the next generation of credit card processing
solutions called "Trinity." With Trinity, business owners have
a single product that processes credit cards in their office, from their
website, and even on the go wirelessly. See our website for more product
info.

PayJunction was founded in 2000 and has grown to process over $130 million
in annual transaction processing for thousands of merchants across the U.S.
Last year's growth exceeded 400%, and we are currently on track to
triple in size this year.

If you are interested, please give me a call at 800-601-0230 x 1014 or
email me. It is best to contact me during weekday mornings. If I am not
available please leave a message and I will get back to you shortly. I
look forward to speaking with you.

With kindest regards,
Todd Fields

Re: Is PayJunction legit?

Yes. PayJunction is a level 1 certified payment provider. You can find them listed on Visa's site here under PCI Compliant providers:
http://usa.visa.com/download/merchan..._providers.pdf

They are as legit as it gets. You can Google "PayJunction" to find many more links out there regarding them.

Re: Is PayJunction legit?

YES PayJunction is legit.

While PayPal is used mostly by ebay and online businesses. PayJunction can be used by online businesses, in store and onsite all at same time.

Yes, I received that same letter, and I have sold that product in the past through an agent company.

The product is a great product.

It IS however a commision only job, and most likely as an independent agent, NOT as an employee.

Re: Is PayJunction legit?

Yes. This email is very legit. I have been working with them for 3 years and it has provided a great living for my family. My residuals are very close to covering my monthly expenses including my house payment...and I get these for life. There is not a better feeling then waking up in the morning knowing that I have that money coming in each month whether I am working or not. The product basically sells itself and it is a product that people can use and need. The training and support that they give you is second to none.

Scam and further 'legit' scamming

I just got the exact same letter.

If they're smart enough to set up a web front, are they fools to not answer how 'legit' they are here!

The WSJ just ran an article on all the scam operations that are trying to recruit from online job boards to either defraud people directly or use them as part of wider illegal enterprises.

"Criminals Prey on the Unemployed
Scammers Use Online Ads to Con Desperate Job Seekers into 'Mule' Operations"
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...332177770.html

This looks a lot like a better quality version of those Nigerian emails where someone claims to be the brother of the president.

Why wouldn't a legitimate business just use paypal rather than some phony ass business out of an apartment.

Your ignorance is appalling. Why would a company that is listed on Visa and Mastercard's websites go through the hassle of trying to defraud people and risk losing their license? It is called a third party reseller program. Stop watching so much Dateline and join the real world.

Re: Is PayJunction legit?

It should be very straight forward to work out if they are legit. If they ask you for money, for any reason, they aren't legit. If they want good people they will invest in them, not ask them for money. Not for any reason under the sun.

That said, it's a sales role, so even if it is legit the hiring will probably be quite well automated, as the role will have a high turn over of employees.

Re: Is PayJunction legit?

I received this in an email. A woman called me prior to this email. I can confirm it is commission only and seems fair enough. Here is the email:
------------------------------
Below is an overview of the position, pay structure, and how to obtain
further information. If after reading this you have any questions, simply
reply to me via e-mail, or call me at the number below.

PayJunction was founded in 2000. We are currently processing over a
billion dollars annually and have grown 300% in the past few years.
We're doing very well, even with this economy, because 9 times out of 10
we can save a business anywhere from $200 to $10,000 a year.
Obviously, businesses are always looking for ways to save money,
especially now.

The product we provide is called the Trinity System. It is a 3 in 1 web
based software that allows businesses to process credit cards in their
office on any computer with internet access, online through their
website, and on the go, wirelessly, through any cell phone or PDA
device. There is more information about this product on our website,
provided below.

So, we are looking for a sales professional in your area who is able to
close accounts and can work independently. You are your own boss and can
do this full or part time. There are no quotas to meet or territory
restrictions, so if you have contacts outside your immediate area, you
are welcome to capitalize on those, as well.

As far as sales support is concerned, there is none required but you
will be assigned a sales director that holds conference calls and
webinars every week that detail various strategies concerning
approaching businesses, retaining clients and other information about
our product and the position that you will need in order to be
successful.

The payment structure for this position is broken down into 3 parts:
Standard Commission, Bonuses, and Lifetime Residuals.

If you wish to obtain further information, I can set you up to speak
with one of our Directors of Sales on an Orientation Conference Call. It
is an informational call, and it allows our directors of sales to go
over the position, the pay structure, and how we're updating those
businesses. Afterward, they open it up to Q & A, so if you need further
clarification they'll be the ones to answer questions for you.

Re: Is PayJunction legit?

PayJunction is legit, but the sales people are crooks. False information about fees and charges, anything to get a sale and a bit of commission.

To quote Mike Francl there:
"Yes. This email is very legit. I have been working with them for 3 years and it has provided a great living for my family"

I've been screwed by PayJunction and their sales reps. If you're happy to leave ethics at the door and join a cult, then PayJunction is for you!

And I hope that next time Mike and his family chow down on their prime rib, they at least know that the money is tainted.

Re: Is PayJunction legit?

Seems pretty legit but always do your research. If you google the company there will always be some good and bad reviews. Pay attention to what the bad reviews say and see if they are repetitive.

I asked that question and no, they do not ask for any money up front. The person that me and a few others interviewed was very staright forward, and answered questions people had. I'm glad I came here because so far, I've heard nothing but great things about that company.
